Cleveland: Warehouse District: Development and News
bad cell phone pic but the former El Guero on w. 9th is now "Camino, Taco and Tequila Bar". (not open yet) Differences inside appear to be wooden furniture and some long narrow communal tables (or looong pub tables)

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
Thats all well and good but the city has to realize that it hurts commerce. I didnt venture much past OC and Detroit SHoreway on the westside and UC on the east. Id only drive on W 25th before sundown. Ive got a vehicle where the tire sensors go beserk with only a small decrease in air pressure. Just for that its a whole 're-initialize process.' Couldnt imagine the dashboard lights if I tanked into one of the craters at even a moderate amount of speed. Point is that I knew some people who werent driving in (for dinner, other events, etc) because of the streets. Word of mouth on this one wasnt good. City has to do better in this dept. EDIT: yes did go to E. 185th but as a passenger

Clueless,Ohio replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Northeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionTerrific old bridge. As much as i dont like the dated Bridge Bldg, 1980s-vintage stuff...i love the foresight and creativity in keeping part of the bridge for something unique.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
How can those giant-crater potholes remain on CLifton evidently all winter without being filled?? First time on Clifton this wkd since the holidays. Quite frankly its embarassing. And regarding Clifton, I see that Torso Cleveland looks like its gone

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Yes. Do these renderings ever show winter and the after-effects of it? As evidenced by these pics from this wkd at Village square in Woodmere, OK prime snowbelt (downtown, the mountains of snow were enormous this year, and the grime -- to be expected, i know -- is one for the books)

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Ha! I think tuberculosis imediately when I hear TB. I think he wouldve been better served to stay on E.185th, a friend of mine lives up by LSB and we got food from there once. The little location there, known more as Hot Dogs and Hoagies, was fine. I walked into this new one right after they opened downtown on E. 8th and didnt stay. Speaking of e. 185th The exterior is done at The Standard with their awniings up now. lookin good https://www.facebook.com/ClevelandStandard

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
I know, i know another arch picture but i thought it was timely with the Irish flags out on the Osborne Bldg for St Paddys day. Even more timely (and hopefully true)...as I was taking these pics a construction worker stopped to talk to me and he said he was working on the PHS lighting projects. He said that the assembly starts tonight for the retro-signage on the top of the Cowell & Hubbard bldg, and should be done by this weekend. He also said that the Euclid Ave arches will be put up the week of MArch 24. I guess we'll know soon.

Cleveland: Cleveland Institute of Art Expansion
Not much here physically, just the beginning stages of the new Cinematheque... This, along w/ W 67th's Near West Theater, have to be the most important new-build neighborhood assets going on right now. (NWT just started digging Friday)
