Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
I see that Segelin's Florist is moving from 105th & Carnegie to the Tudor Arms Hotel down the street. They're having a moving sale inside the last Art Deco-inspired building, albeit a small one, around that immediate area. Of course, everyone knows the OCPM Bldg and the Physicians and Surgeons Bldg have already been razed. Makes me worried that this remnant of the 4-corner intersection is on its way out. Pictures from a few weeks ago behind and beyond this intersection... I think this is surface parking lot musical-chairs in order to create the "green spine" that I remember reading about this past winter. Too lazy right now to google. Somebody more knowledgeable out there on CCF, perhaps? Last picture is of the new huge surface lot on Euclid Ave...

Very glad to see that the CSU art gallery is becoming a reality on Euclid Ave next to Kent's CUDC ( i mistakenly thought this was going in the ground floor of the former Woolworth's next door -- either way, it's great to see)

That's good. They were looking perilously close to what I think is the city's worst structure (and even more awfully placed):

With this being in relative close proximty to the CMNH, shouldnt there be a delay to see how this bridge could be incoprporated into access for the renovated/rebuilt museum (of Natural History)?

Meandering through Cleveland
Thanks for the comments! The Bratenahl houses pictured are from all different parts of LSB --- from E. 140th end to the MLK end. Oh and a couple from the end of Corning Drive. Alley between Rose and Schofield buildings. sizzlinbeef -- wow! you know downtown. I also like the No Smoking photo along with night shot of DNA Level C nightclub and the Alex Bistro in PHS. As picture # 15 shows, it appears (maybe confirmed somewhere?) that a second grand apartment building on East Blvd is gettiing restored in this surviving stand of about 8 of these. Some other pics of it...

I havent seen the forumer Ohio City post for a while, so I dont know if they will respond to this...but the window replacement above the Something Different gallery is a plain ol' boring glass window. Plywood was there for several months before that...and now nothing much. The original transom is ostensibly gone? Very unfortunate. It is little things like this that take away from the charm of W. 25th St. I guess I'll go into the gallery sometime soon and ask someone there how this all transpired.- Cleveland: Hotel Development
Thankyou Hopefully they're back soon.- Cleveland: Hotel Development
