The problem with the Cleveland Pickle is that they close so early. I'd like to try it but the hours of operation cater more to the downtown worker instead of downtown resident. I dont tnink they are open on weekends either, the website doesnt help. I wish Josh Kabat all the best, and I love the location and the logo. Very glad to hear that Potbelly's is coming downtown. That'll be a plus. And I would think it will be open long enough for us downtown residents, especially with all the slated apartment conversions.

Cant wait til the fall when this first phase of stuff should finishing up (and at which time CIA should be taking off) The parking lot behind CWRU bookstore and Constantino's Mkt...there is nothing that resembles meters going in. Maybe it's too early but it doesnt look like there will be much in the way of lighting. Again it's probably too early and/or I am interpreting what I saw incorrectly. Maybe this lot will be minimally accessorized (low-lighting, no striping)? At least at this point in time, the bricked lot is more reminiscent of a driveway for a luxury home. I wonder if all this is in deference to the NIMBY Hessler Rd residents, whose apartment buildings and row houses are right up to this area, and also to the occupants of the Uptown Apts who could be paying the most in NEOhio for living per sq foot.

Great question, as one of those 'Case and UH people'... I forgot how this does occur whenever possible at un-metered lots.

Looks like Elegansia on W. 25th was vacating their location in the corner of the Rialto THeater Bldg (aka Moda Bldg and the future home of Mitchell's Ice Cream). I wonder if they're re-locating. I didnt know that they would be leaving that space, if that is indeed what I saw today. That would mean Mitchell's must be taking up the whole building.

The old house on E. 115th that was home to the CWRU police and security services has been demolished. This is to make room for the New Circle Vistas maximum accessible housing development. Then the tall brick building on Euclid Ave. that is currently Circle Vistas will be open for re-development. Win-win.

Yes this Tilted Kilt is a big minus, i think. I wish a chain like PF Chang was setting up there. look at it this way though. It'll keep a lot of heterosexual males on the street, headed into this place and out of any skywalk. 365 days a year, or close to it.

For the last couple weeks I was thinking it was Gillespie's building under renovation at W. 25th & Jay. I think interior work there recently started. And there is a parking lot in the back asscociated wth the old Jay Lofts.
