Yeah the black lab and two cats are posing a slight problem right now... I just dont know how long I would be staying to look into purchasing a house. Thank you all though for your imput. I will just have to drive around and see :)

Yeah I have been reading the other posts on a few places and that may be where I could be getting mixed information on certain areas. Right now I live downtown Milwaukee, Wi in the "wards" so i am use to loft style living. I have never been to cleveland, again some of my information might be scewed by reading posts of living north of coventry. My monthly budget is 1200 including utilities. Which i know I could then definately afford cleveland heights, I am just use to space. Right now I rent a 2000 sq ft loft, so I cant be choosy but you would love to stay with that. And the job would be down town. Im not looking for necessarily a bustling night life out my window, because right now Im use to traveling a bit to get to it even though the area is up and coming where i am now. I just like that friendly neighborhood feeling. I love that I can walk to my coffee shop in the morning and they know my name. :)

This can be confusing. I have been looking at places to rent and i have come up with limited options. I am a single female with a huge dog. I have seen places in tremont, cleveland heights, shaker heights, the "asian district" and Lakewood ect. I have never been to Cleveland, so have no idea whats so ever. I noticed it seems that housing is also really kinda cheap here. Where I am from that can some times reflect the area, but it seems like it might not here. Is there any suggestions for a mid 20's single female who would still feel safe walking her big dog at night. There was this cute loft i loved in Asiantown i found... but not sure if thats too close to Glenville which i saw from a lot of post is a bad area. What are the lines that might seperate... how far east on St Clair or in that area can you go. Also Cleveland Heights I noticed has the same issue. Thanks for any help.
