  1. Does anyone have their children in private schools in Columbus? or in the past? If so, do you have an recommendations? Thank you
  2. It's just a natural process for people to rebuild some cities. If the liberals cry "gentrification" so what?...how are we going to rebuild our cities?. Who was there before the poor etc?....just tear down the bad areas and give the land to developers...

Poor leadership in Ohio. They still think GM and Goodyear will save them, but those days are gone. It would take some very forward looking leadership to turn Ohio around. Getting rid of the state income tax would be a good start. Demolish all the bad parts of the major cities and give the the land to developers. No restrictions, no "affordable housing", no public housing, give loans to the cronic unemployed to either leave the state or go back to college and get employable degree...
  4. Tear down all the "bad" areas that are in every city in American. GIVE the land to developers and get out of their way.
  5. Unions have had their day and are no longer needed. The South has very good schools, jobs, etc...the North is being dragged down by unions and poor leadership.
  6. For the big cities to survive they need to oursource most of their services and get rid of public workers. It would be much cheaper and provide better service.
  7. It was a dumb idea to sell off the sewer system. He should propose outsourcing the fire dept and then all the city workers except for the police. It would be a good way to get rid of the unions.
  8. I would like to move to a major city but most American cities have the same problems; high crime, poor schools, corruption, inept leadership, poor maintenance of services etc.... The cap and tax bill will push people back to the city and it would be nice to see a major takeover of the administration of the cities to a new generation of leaders. Another problem would be the crowd that complains the poor and minorities would be pushed out..which would be a good thing since they are a big reason people left the cities....
  9. I think most European-Americans would shy away from a school that has a majority African-American students. It's a difference in values and culture. The idea of attending your local school is better than trying to achieve some sort of "racial balance". Just leave parents alone and let them choose the school that fits their needs.
