  1. very cool, ambitious project. I'm very familiar with this area though and I hate the combined architectural styles of modern townhomes right beside classic Brush Park homes....
  2. ^of course. and the fake punt OSU ran unsuccessfully had holding all over the place.
  3. OSU is in, there's no way they aren't in. The only question is whether Penn State/Wisconsin is in also, which could happen if they win and any of the other conf title games are an upset and Alabama/Clemson/Washington go down ^I think Michigan is a very good team, maybe top 4, but it's a real stretch to see them making it as a 2-loss team and not being a conf champ
  4. Well that just isn't true. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/11/27/13756832/jt-barrett-first-down-ohio-state-michigan-2016 http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/michigan-has-legit-beef-with-controversial-spot-on-ohio-states-fourth-down-conversion/ http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/11/26/13753594/ohio-state-michigan-final-score-results-2016 http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/11/fourth-down-spot-ohio-state-michigan-double-overtime http://www.landgrantholyland.com/2016/11/26/13753718/michigan-ohio-state-2016-fourth-down-spot-overtime-j-t-barrett-first-down The articles you link all say it was close or controversial but do any say the wrong call was made?
  5. outside of Michigan fans, nobody in the national media is saying the Barrett first down was the wrong call. Everything else was inconsequential. I think Meyer made some ridiculous calls like the fake punt. The defense bailed them out time & time again. The two missed FG's could have wrapped the game in regulation for OSU. Could've, should've, would've. The game will go down as an instant classic. The rivalry is back, in a big way. hands down the #1 rivalry in college football now and probably for next few years. I think projecting forward to next year, Michigan is going to lose a big senior class and OSU will come back next year loaded.
  6. I walked out of the room 3x in second half. Can't believe OSU found a way to win. Three things 1. Harbaugh is an ass for complaining about the officiating. He should complain about his teams 3 turnovers or failure to stop Weber/Samuel in OT 2. OSU did nothing to impress me about winning a title. Aside from a gutsy win at home against a good team, they have a lot of work to do esp on offense 3. As an OSU fan, I love their position of being on the outside of a Conf title looking in. They will likely not drop regardless of the Big Ten game and don't have to fear injury or fatigue.
  7. Nonstop coverage on ESPN this morning. Pretty cool that Harbaugh and Meyer have direct connections to Earl Bruce and Bo Schembechler
  8. That's what most of the coverage I'm seeing says. Maybe see a lot of him covered by Peppers though so he may not have much success catching passes as receiver. Interesting side note, Michigan has a big senior class of starters. They will be rebuilding next year. This is OSU's rebuilding year
  9. Third string QB in a Big Ten cha*pionship ga*e? You could say that.... That team was so loaded with talent... It probably goes without saying but the offense is really missing Zeke Elliot. The way he punished defenses in the 4th quarter and turned 4-5yd gains into 20 yard gains. Need to find a way to get the ball to the wideouts
  10. ESPN Mike & Mike just did a breakdown of the game. OSU needs to get the ball to Curtis Samuel and let him make some plays downfield. Michigan still has questions on who will start at QB. Expect some trick plays from Michigan. Both teams will show a number of looks on Saturday that they have not shown all year.
  11. I think the key to the game will be whichever team can get something going in the passing game. I expect both teams to try and establish the run but I also think both defenses will do a pretty good job shutting it down. Unless OSU can get some completions over the top to the WR's for some big plays, I think the RB's will have a hard time finding room. Ditto for JT.
  12. Not much chatter in here before the big game. Let's hear some predictions and analysis
  13. I think OSU wins if we get both teams best games. If OSU sputters on offense, it could go to Michigan. OSU couldn't pass at all, in large part due to the weather, but JT's accuracy and reads were definitely off. They never got the TE for some reason and never throw quick slants or basic 7 yard out pattern. Those are easy completions that can let players make the defender miss for a big gain.
  14. The decision to go for 2 by Dantonio didn't make much sense. Force OT at home. I'm not feeling nearly as confident for OSU vs Michigan next week.
  15. OSU defense getting pushed around by MSU running game. They know it's coming and are still struggling to stop it. Offense hasn't found a rhythm either
  16. I doubt it. That was really expensive
  17. I hear you, and I applaud Stark's creative ambition. But it's just curious to me that 515 Euclid seems to be full steam ahead with construction beginning in the coming months; Stark has a lot being juggled and, as you said, these projects are extremely complex and demand attention. 515 Euclid is indeed full steam ahead. They are selecting a construction manager in the next month and want to get started. Nucleus continues to slip. Ground breaking will be March at the earliest now
  18. that would be 2 years in a row now that Michigan's loss to another big ten opponent ended up keeping us out of the Big Ten title game (aside from our own loss) Seems like we need to root for Wisconsin to demolish Penn State in the Big Ten championship. I could see OSU leap frogging a 2 loss Wisconsin esp since we beat them

gotta give the Cubs credit. They are an amazing team of hitters. They were dropping hits in gaps like I've never seen

They still have to beat Kluber in game 7.

On a different note, I think both cities have been good hosts to visiting fans. I talked to several people that went to Chicago as Tribe fans and everyone said it was friendly and hospitable.
  22. Arrieta scares me. Dude is like the Terminator.
  23. Tribe has to wrap it up tonight. Arrieta probably starting in game 6 and we do not want to face him again. Francona will have a real short leash on Bauer tonight, then Salazar and I bet we see Miller come in for a bit also
  24. OSU play calling needs to get a LOT better. So many plays for negative yardage. Running the option around the outside several times the other night -it NEVER worked. JT was pitching the ball backward to a RB who was immediately tackled for a loss, usually a yard or two behind where JT was. Passing game was just as bad. Receivers were open. Several times the WR had the inside line on the coverage, JT was not getting the ball to them. O Line didn't play well but plenty of times you could see him working down through his progressions... years past he was able to throw his receivers open. Not so much this year. Defenses are stacking the line against us. Penn State was blitzing a fair amount and Barrett couldn't hit a receiver on a quick slant???
  25. IMO, we're playing with house money. One championship in the bag, up 3-1 in the ALCS. There's no difference to me between winning one more game or four more. Five more wins makes this an unbelievably magical year for Cleveland sports, but it's been a great run even if we lose the next 3 (which I doubt will happen). It's been fun comparing the Tribe playoff run to the Cavs, to friends who are not from Cleveland. The Cavs team was built to win a championship. Anything less than making it to the Finals game would have been a letdown for that team. For the Tribe, even though they led the division pretty much all year, I don't think anyone was talking "World Series". Agreed, feels like they are playing with house money. Very exciting. Watching Miller mow down their lineup has been incredible. Having said all that, anyone want to rethink who we want to face between Cubs/Dodgers?
