Cleveland: Shaker Square: Development and News
That 'Bonwit Teller' shopping strip is going to be crucially important to turning shaker square around. New development should also include the surface lot - they'll have an opportunity to put structured parking in. The square is charming, but it is hindered by everything being one/two story - This gives them an opportunity to go as vertical as they can , put storefronts on van aiken and drexmore, and connect thru that diagonal hallway in the square. That would open the opportunity to develop the lots behind dave's

Cleveland Parking Discussion
this isn't s nimby situation. any business would be reasonably concerned about the effects of closing the street you do business on.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
yea, don't think the city will be proactive. just that those parkinglots are the only real way to enhance the street

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
ive felt there are slightly too few things there to make it a destination. the parking is controlled by the city. they need to get creative. maybe demo the garage and rebuild with better storefronts and apartments on top. the big surface lot is developable too. preserve the parking, more density, more new shops

half the league draws 6k or less. not putting down the league or this project, but I wouldn't necessarily expect sellouts

the malls would be a good spot for a sculpture/statue garden downtown. get a couple dozen sculptures along the outer sidewalks

yea. all of the paneling besides the glass looks cheap and unsubstantial. the shack reminds of the fidelity investment building in crocker park

Cleveland SC Soccer Stadium
wolstein spot makes a lot of sense too - since csu is looking for a new basketball arena. they could cede the land to a soccer ownership group in exchange for use

seems like it may cost a couple million bucks to prep the building for more floors to be built atop.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University News & Info
respectable lower-tier mid-major basketball team, a very bad football program. csu would fit right in with the the rest of the MAC. would raise the profile of the school, locally
