Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Being honest. I was kinda just hoping for something simple like this. Blue=building; red=walkway towards river; green=parkland then extend tower city out another block. Frankly, i liked the Forest City Riverview plan better.

this looks like just bad urban planning too. disjointed towers with big gaps that slope down to the river. idk

if the aren't tied to an mls team, would that give them flexibility to jump leagues if they had to?

public square design turned out to be not so great

someone on here has a graphic of the runway cone. you can build taller as you move away from the runway. I'm not sure you'd see construction much taller than the stadium even without the restrictions.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Question from the woefully uninformed. How much authority does the county executive have over the RTA compared to someone like Bibb. Ronayne seemed keenly interested in reforming RTA - is that even within his purview

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
I really wish they would try to stick with some of the original materials and approaches when building out these new sections. the stadium is starting to look like Frankenstein's monster. theres different color brick throughout, the metal containers in right. the home plate bar looks like a retrofit and these terraces are going to have wood-looking slats

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
There is a lot of trying to deflect from the fact that the city just lost a fortune 1000 company. somehow it's better for 200 apartments to be in the Rose building than a multi-billion dollar company.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park
im not so sure. their officials were talking last year that the town needs to develop more commercial tax revenue to maintain its city services and we're complaining that the park was eating into developable land.

bein a little cavalier calling people nimbys if they don't want a high traffic commercial airport in their neighborhood

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I'd be down to close burk if a major project/developer were lined up. I don't want to shut it down based only on the assumption that 'of course people would want to build on it - its by the lake'

Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb
There has been a lot of bad bibb press this week.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Many of our complaints lose their significance if they end up developing their surface lots. The worry is if they have no intention on developing the lots and are just saying the things they think they need to say.
