  7. live in tremont and made it to Shaker Square in like ten min. I was thinking they should rename the northern stretch of buckeye to Shaker Blvd and give it the the big grass median to add continuity and streamline the path to shaker square from opportunity corridor.
  8. almost every cop car I see at night has one of its headlights out
  9. missing about 5 bus shelters in the renderings. I thought they said they would extend the sidewalk to the building when they discussed the setback variance in the first meeting. there's a strip of grass along superior

I didn't think either candidate did themselves any favors, personally. I actually thought that endorsement quip looked childish. Kelley was saying bibb was factually wrong and bibb didn't reply with a substantive answer. I want some discussion on how specific resources will be allocated to achieve specific goals and we haven't gotten too much of that from either candidate so far.
  12. owner of the biggest and most popular mall in the region complaining that a home depot in the flats is sucking away all the urban retail. There is something i've been thinking about. Why are projects like INTRO able to get backing in Ohio City, but its so hard to develop downtown. You'd think being on e4th and right next to the arena would be similar in terms of foot traffic needed to attract tenants.

I'd heard it'll happen in 2023, they have to remove sediment first, I think

  15. I was thinking about that too (I'm often thinking about good spots for a progressive tower). it'd be perfect for them, if they were interested.
  16. i was wondering something like that, too. Between this and the lakefront design, is it possible there is no real plan, but they see the possibility federal infrastructure money and are rushing to make plans to look more serious when applying for a grants?

ward 12 is kinda screwed up, geographically. his neighborhoods are separated by Newburgh Heights and the industrial valley. i live in tremont and am a part of ward 12. this seems like one that would be adjusted when they change the number of districts.
  19. no, honestly, it sounded like they don't want people on the lawn, either
  20. its crazy, they cant conceptually justify this pavilion
  21. no, you see the lines break up the building as it creates a conversation between the other towers.
