  1. RTA should sue the city for the last six months of expenses
  2. ^nope
  3. the square was designed to close the bus lanes for large events like Saturday's march. so individual instances like that don't really sway the argument one way or the other.
  4. I agree with ken. Working downtown, I haven't seen so much pedestrian activity on the square that it couldn't safely accommodate buses. the volume of buses going around the square actually seems more dangerous to me.
  5. as someone mentioned upthread, the Q is the most justifiable of the three sports venues to spend public money on. It hosts hundreds of events per year and is much more versatile than a single sport building. Additionally, Gilbert has already spent a lot of his own money keeping the arena competitive. You could argue this belongs more in the debate of whether or not public dollars should be spent building convention centers than whether cleveland should pay for the browns to have a nicer facility.
  6. "the City of Cleveland & RTA are in discussions regarding when and if the buses will be allowed to use the designed, exclusive transit lanes"
  7. i've seen a lot of credentials hanging off people necks on the train this week
  8. I've used it. It was kind of confusing because there is nothing in the app or at the station telling you how to show your ticket.

. Looked it up, good catch. Stats are for the "current playoff format". Showed one team losing in the semis, six teams losing in the Conference Finals and four teams losing in the Finals. Our friends at ESPN sure love to plant the seeds of doubt when it involves Cleveland. I forgot about that Lakers team. They would have gone 15-0, if not for one crazy AI performance. I think current playoff format started in 2003 with all series going best of seven
  11. This has to be over-budget, right?
  12. don't worry, the rock-O-meter will offer great concert space while maintaining the integrity of the surrounding architecture
  13. it'll be funny when people start spray painting 'off' on billboards and signs around town
  14. What about their previous work would give you confidence that they do?

  16. ^ you can pass judgment if you think euclid avenue, as the main street of a major US city, should have buildings that interact with it.
  17. Do you really believe that a couple hundred buses a day on two lanes with pavers is the same as four lanes plus turning lanes that ushers thousands of vehicles? **Merry Christmas**
  18. any/all of the numbered streets between W 32nd and W 58th could be intersections with lights. Why does 45th need a ramp if we want this to be an accessible road?
