A lot of people. who don't know anything, have sources. I'm passively paying attention until something happens. It isn't worth digging deep into the twitters for unsubstantiated rumors.

The cap structure is so jury rigged. It seems like someone finds a loophole and they patch it up. The end result is that almost nobody fully knows how the system works. there are rules that you cant sign someone to a six year contract if they turn 35 at any point in the contract, etc.

I expected him to re-up, but it is still a relief.
  6. Wasn't there a memo going around that told writers to ask their spouses to proof their articles for them?

The heat haven't done that bad in attendance over the last ten years. I don't think season ticket sales there have much to do with the product.

    1) I don't think the Heat want to be in a position where they are publicly begging for him to come back. 2) A huge selling point for them is pat's confidence and godfatheresque persona. He's selling that he knows what he's doing and that Lebron would be a fool not to see it.
  13. people like to look at early 20th century america as some kind of utopia. Not just with public square, but in general.
  14. It doesn't really matter, the Indians have slowly been phasing out chief wahoo for the last five to ten years, anyways.
  15. They always have a excuse for why they are poorly run.
  16. especially when you can easily have parking in the back off of coltman
  17. Went there once and was totally unimpressed with the food.
  18. You cherry pick to prove your point. No mention of the other thousand buildings in little italy that represent the neighborhood aesthetic. Also, the argument isn't that there shouldn't be new construction or that new builds should look exactly like the other houses. It is that new buildings should show awareness of place. geometry, color, height, material and style can be used to achieve this. I think that some of your examples actually do a good job of fitting in, while achieving contemporary looks. In my opinion, anything below the hill, on mayfield, should be 3-4 stories, with ground-level retail.
  19. I agree, it pays no mind to its surroundings.
  20. Land Studio works with an aesthetic that i just cant warm up to. Everything ends up looking hackneyed in their attempt to be unique. Why would I want to sit in something that looks like a converted dumpster?

Also, it implies that the money distributed isn't really necessary or that the county is just awarding money to the team that has the better talent, rather than which structure needs repairs most.

I think he is going to build the bridge from the mall, justified by the fact that it serves the stadium by creating direct pedestrian access. Is that even possible?
  24. It’s official: Melt location to open in new university center Julia Bianco , News Editor April 30, 2014 Filed under Uncategorized After months of speculation, the rumors have finally been confirmed: the famous Cleveland restaurant Melt Bar and Grilled will be coming to Case Western Reserve University’s new Tinkham Veale University Center this fall. Melt, a gourmet grilled cheese restaurant, has won Cleveland Magazine’s Best Sandwich for the past four years, and was listed on Esquire’s One of the Best Sandwiches in America list. The new university center will be Melt’s fifth location, and its first campus spot. “I think this is something that the Case community can really get excited about,” said Beth Kretschmar, marketing manager for Bon Appetit, CWRU’s food management company. “Melt is a local favorite, it’s a really cool concept, it’s award winning, and I just think it’s really fun.” - See more at: http://observer.case.edu/its-official-melt-location-to-open-in-new-university-center/#sthash.G6F6f5wZ.dpuf
