each baseball game is worth ten percent of a football game, as well. Even if people liked baseball as much as they like football (which they don't), each football game would still be ten times more important than a baseball game. the marathon nature of the sport allows people to watch from a distance and come in and out as things get interesting or boring.

two things: 1) i wouldn't compare anyone to one of the best quarterbacks of all time. 2) this is not a conversation about the future. neither weeden nor hoyer will start opening day next year.

I don't buy it. gordon affected this game an a major way. Im not a weeden defender, but there is a reason Hoyer has been in the league for five years and has played for four different teams. This situation has kelly holcomb written all over it.
