  2. This is it. 3 Cleveland celebrity chefs to open food stands at Browns Stadium By Joe Crea, The Plain Dealer Monday, June 25, 2012 Read More at: http://www.cleveland.com/dining/index.ssf/2012/06/3_cleveland_celebrity_chefs_to.html CLEVELAND, Ohio -- There will be new places for club- and loge-level fans to eat at Cleveland Browns Stadium this fall, bearing the names of three of the area's favorite chefs. Michael Symon's B Spot, Rocco Whalen's Rosie & Rocco's and a new concept by Jonathon Sawyer of Greenhouse Tavern and Noodlecat restaurants will soon be operating under one roof. Each chef will have two locations within the stadium, in the Lakeview and Cityview Club Level areas. The stands are expected to open in time for the Kenny Chesney-Tim McGraw concert on Sunday, July 29.
  3. I walked around Kent today. Here are my Pictures of Downtown. It starts with the new construction: Acorn Alley (Phase I & II), The Kent State Hotel, the PARTA center, the rehab of the old Hotel, and the new development on water street. Then it jumps around a bit. It is of S. Water st., then Main St., back to S. Water, to Franklin, finally to N. Water. If you want to see something in more detail, I can go out again. I may walk around campus soon and hit y'all up with a remix (if you want it.) 1. DSCN1503 by mmurph46, on Flickr 2. DSCN1518 by mmurph46, on Flickr 3. DSCN1520 by mmurph46, on Flickr 4. Youre assuming that irving wont be a superstar. What happens if he is the best point guard in the league in three years. Could they be as good as this years bulls? with two years of high draft picks, the cavs could be in position to have a strong, young supporting cast and may be a free agent away from serious contention. This conversation may belong on the cavs thread but I think the cavs look as good going forward as you could possibly hope they could, given the circumstances.

^ I agree. This may turn out to be one of the closest five game series ever. I definitely think the difference between the teams isn't skill or ability but inexperience on a big stage...and Harden Side note, I heard on the tony kornheiser radio show that Cleveland has the highest tv ratings for the finals out of any US city.

  8. how about we make e 3rd a pedestrian road, close down the west roadway intersection so it the square isn't a full loop but make traffic turn right onto superior instead of being able to go completely around the square. if you would need a longer incline. like this?

a lot of players get numbers when they are the only good player on a bad team. There are a certain amount of points and boards to be had and a good player, with nobody to help them, will take those opportunities like a 'looter in a riot'. This artificially inflates their stats. There are many players who get a big contract from a new team and don't end up being as good as people think. In terms of miami, I believe that the premise is flawed. Instead of two top five players and a top ten player, they have the best player in the world in lebron, maybe a top ten player in wade, and a top twenty-five player in bosh. Wade is very good and can play as well as anyone when he's on fire, but he isn't as consistent as a top five player should be and his legs are becoming increasingly old. I expect a precipitous drop from him in the next few years given his style of play, a la iverson. Also, i'm not sure the metrics are worked out as well in basketball as baseball. Just because hollinger comes up with an efficiency system doesn't mean it is a true indicator of impact. Basketball is the game that is most athletic and most influenced by things like mindset, determination, and encouragement. This is why a flat basketball team will never win a game and teams can be rattled by situation.

I want Scott to be here for a very long time. one of the problems with the browns is the revolving door in the front office and coach departments. The key to substantial success is a stable group running things. getting van gundy just to shake things up a little bit is no good, in my opinion.

  16. My sisters friend is trying to get married in two weeks (her husband is going over seas after) and they want to have a dinner for a group around thirty. My sister asked me to try to think of a restaurant in lakewood or cleveland which would have a room for something like this. I think they want mid-range prices. I don't know this person so I don't really have much to go on (which is why i am giving you so little to work with), but any help at all would be appreciated.
  17. Chris Perez Rips Cleveland Fans, Says Free Agents Don’t Want To Sign Because Of Lack Of Support May 19, 2012 By Brendan Read More: http://www.waitingfornextyear.com/2012/05/chris-perez-rips-indians-fans/ As is his wont, Chris Perez shot off in the locker room after the Indians 2-0 win over the Marlins on Saturday. Only this time he wasn’t getting into tussles on Twitter or with the opponents. Perez ripped the Cleveland fans, saying they don’t show up and the lack of support has hurt the organization’s pursuit of free agents. He specifically cited the club’s attempt to sign Carlos Beltran this offseason, saying the low attendance and support were a factor in Beltran choosing the Cardinals over the Tribe

How about the elephant in the room, OSU. I don't live there, so correct me if I'm wrong, but i have always felt that columbus was an OSU town. would such a high profile sports school affect attendance of a prospective NBA team? I would also think stern would want the bluejackets to become profitable before considering bringing a team there. It is risky and, given the fiscal issues currently going on in the NBA, I wouldn't think the league would be willing to open itself to the possibility of another nonprofitable team.
