Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
^ There is a height limit for buildings closer to the Lakefront because of the Burke Airport.

Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
^ Wow, I'm surprised the Huntington Building wasn't being considered. I thought that was going to be the choice.

Cleveland: Downtown: A.J. Celebrezze Federal Building Renovation
0.0 why can't we have that now?

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I hope they choose a good design for the new mall. So much potential.

East Cleveland: Development and News
I know a thing or two about South Africa. I'm going to be studying there next semester. I don't think we should try to mimic any of their urban trends (outside of some of the dense growth you can find in Cape Town). Actually, I just wouldn't promote the construction of anymore gated communities, period.

Cleveland: Downtown: Residences at 1717
They say they'll need God. I'd believe in God for a bit if it means getting this project some funding! haha

Cleveland: Downtown: Residences at 1717
Renovating an eyesore building, 223 new apartments, some retail, and more pedestrian traffic in the CBD... I really hope the state, or city, or god or whatever can get them the funding they need! This could be a great addition to the city.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
I'm not particularly mad, like many people here seem to be. It's another business downtown, and it'll have some regional draw. Also, I remember I heard something about a local burger joint planning on opening in one of those retail spots. I can't remember what it's called though. The original location is in the 'burbs somewhere.

Cleveland: MOCA
hmmm, maybe those certain panels need to be washed off?
-
Cleveland: Flats East Bank
I hope they put up those apartments relatively soon, because I'm worried that those restaurants will not get enough business without them.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
The concrete pattern kind of reminds me of the double helix shape of DNA! Maybe that wasn't on purpose, but it's medically-related in a way.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
The space in question is rather small, right? I wonder what it could be.
-
Cleveland: MOCA
That's disappointing to hear. I hope there's a way to fix that.
-
Cleveland: Calfee Building (Rockwell and East 6th)
Beautiful. They sure don't build them like they used to!
-
Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Hmm, I thought it looked tacky in the renders. Maybe it'll end up looking better in real life.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
It's about time they open that place up! I'm very excited to hike the trails there some time.
-
Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
While I'm excited about this project, I'm wondering: are they still planning on using the cheap vinyl siding from earlier renders?
-
Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
Yeah, I hope something else is done with the facade. Either shine it up or give it some texture somehow.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
yet another reminder of just how huge this project is!

Cleveland: Downtown Aquarium
I hope the problems of the aquarium will be addressed in good time. Most of them sound like they won't be too difficult to fix. Better signage, improving water quality, and adding some live coral in the tanks. I hope phase two can happen because that could really help put this aquarium on par with larger and more famous ones.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Seriously. There is absolutely no excuse to be tearing down any buildings in that area. Why don't they just build their new building on other side of the viaduct, across from the new condos?

Sears / Kmart News
^ I think that last question was just poking fun at what you said here:

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
^ I think it's a great plan, considering the fact that we can't build on burke or on the land the west of the browns stadium. Maybe someday we'll be able to develop that land, but we need to move one step at a time.

Cleveland: Downtown Aquarium
Also, connecting Main Avenue by a bridge across the Flats west bank to the new east bank development would do wonders for connectivity of the area and access to the aquarium. But I understand that this is unlikely.

Cleveland: Downtown Aquarium
^ Maybe I'm being a pessimist, but isn't it sort of a bad sign that he had trouble finding that aquarium? That's my biggest qualm with putting the aquarium in the powerhouse instead of building one near the RRHoF and GLSC. People unfamiliar with the area will have trouble finding it.
