Just discovering this piece on Youngstown- fantastic KJP, fantastic. I'm a long time railroad buff, so naturally the Youngstown area was an interest to me. I managed to catch the last few good years around the railroads in Youngstown, and actually still go there on occasion nowadays for photos. I won't get into the politics of all this other than to say I'm seeing a replay of sorts with the auto industry in Ohio. I work for Norfolk Southern in the Cleveland area, and have seen firsthand what the closing of Chrysler Twinsburg has done to us and many others.
