Gays are good at starting the change cause they have to worry less about schools which is a huge factor that pushes families away.

Cleveland: Little Italy Neighborhood Discussion
Little Italy seems to have been doing great the last couple of years. Tony Brush park, coltman, murray hill market, those listed in the article. Could someone more familiar with the area make a list of everything that has happened recently?

Would you want to live downtown? Cause you could easily afford it.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
Why do Clevelands west side suburbs seem more sprawl like then the east side suburbs. Is it because they developed later? If thats true. Is it because the east side seems to have more communities developed along the lake while the west side has more inland suburbs?

So is anything going on or planned for the spot where the house burned down a few months ago? Was it just one house or was it two?

Cleveland - Housing Advice
Have you considered Heritage Suites? I think they are apartments/dorms run by Cleveland State. From what I see, the rent is $420-$669 a month with parking being $50 a month. Units are fully furnished and utilities are included. You also have access to laundry facilities and a TV lounge. I believe you have to be over 21 to live there so its not younger kids straight out of high school. You might want to stop by Positively Cleveland and pick up a copy of downtown digs. It lists almost all of the apartments downtown and the price ranges/parking fee and many of the amenities. I believe they would have a copy.

You will have to pay for parking, which I think is like $150 a semester. Total random guess but you could check CSU's website for more parking information.

Cleveland - Housing Advice
From my experience with the healthline, It can be very crowded during the day, but getting on in University Circle area should almost always guarantee you a seat. Ive never had any issues, but If you want to feel safer, I would suggest staying in the first half of the bus near the driver. The crowd up there seems to be more calm. Also nighttime trips didn't seem frightening to me. They actually seem really calm. You have plenty of room and the bus is almost completely quiet. It is a relaxing ride in my opinion.

Relics of Cleveland
North side of Prospect, 3659. They're right between 2 parking lots, if I remember correctly. I saw them for the first time last week, they're really cute ! Those are Cleveland's only East Coast-style rowhouses. One of them is a bed & breakfast. Wow those are beautiful. Never seen them before. If only we had street after street of those!

My top choices would be by CSU an Little Italy. For one, both areas are safe, and have great access to CSU. Plus you get to live in the actual city.

^ I agree about the excellent public transportation and everything else you said. I just think that Downtown is probably more safe.

Cleveland - Housing Advice
I would say downtown is safe, Ive never felt threatened down there. CSU seems to be very safe. I would also say that downtown is safer than shaker square. Maybe you should also check out Little Italy. Very safe walkable neighborhood with great access to public transportation. Whats your price range?

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
I believe you're referring to the Positively CLE, CLE + and Greater Cleveland Sports offices relocation. Yes but if I remember correctly, I thought they said they were leaving open the corner spot for some cleveland related restaurant or store.
