Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
In 2004, before construction on Euclid started, the #6 bus route on Euclid boarded 2,941,560 riders (vs about 4.1 million riders in 2010 on the HealthLine). Gee, I'd call that an improvement. That's the only year for which I have route-specific ridership data for all RTA bus routes (although I do have ridership data for Cleveland streetcar routes -- each of the top-five streetcar routes in the 1920s carried nearly as many people as the entire RTA system of today!). So while ridership data would be even better without fare-jumpers, the overall revenue may not be. :-P Thank you KJP

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Idk, the train station is really disconnected. You have to cross odd interestions as well. I think a pedestrian bridge like the ones on the interection if 91 and Stevens in eastlake or on 91 by the captains stadium wouldn't be too bad.

I think as long as the city has a car first mentality, the healthline will never meet those times

I would recommend Little Italy over Coventry just due to the access to public transportation.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
^ that would be interesting, outdoor concessions sort of. Like I guess similar to, hate to say it, what Crocker Park has.

any numbers from before construction began? Wasn't the 6 a similar route?

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Only problem with retail is that Euclid, Prospect, and parts of Huron are better suited for it. But still they have problems with vacancy. Most of the buildings that currently surround Public square cant support retail anyways.

Moving to Cleveland with a dog
^Exactly! For day to day travel, living closer to CWRU would make more sense. For nights you do want to go out, just like Hts121, downtown is just a short bus/rapid ride away!

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
I like this. Make sure you try to separate the idea of public square and the malls. You dont want two competing parks, rather two completely different spaces with different purposes and amenities.

Moving to Cleveland with a dog
668 would be nice if you could afford it. Hey guys, do you think anything around CSU fits the description? Its pretty active over there during the week, you can use parts of the campus as a park to walk your dog, pretty safe area, and mostly college students. Also great access to public transportation. I think it could be a possibility. Also im not super familiar with the area but what do you guys think about little italy. Close to CWRU, the museums, you have restaurants, excellent access to the RTA(Redline, Healthline) pretty safe. I think this might be the best choice.

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
I would love to see that gap filled in on east 4th towards the prospect side and have them close that side down to traffic. Any chance of that ever happening?
