Actually since it is a conversion, room sizes can vary greatly and things are less uniform. If you look at their website, they have some one bedroom apartments at $799 a month and others at over $1000.
3. What are these crazy looking houses? They have a nice view. Anything else being built there? http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=41.488585,-81.725004&spn=0.001969,0.006866&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=41.48844,-81.723978&panoid=ulS732g5i2OEPYTQzQ4ZxQ&cbp=12,66.26,,0,-3.44

Daaaaaaaaaaamn!!! This is great stuff ... this kid has a lot of talent, he's kind of got his own style and the beats are unique. Keep us posted on new vids that he puts on YouTube. Not much of a video but here is another one of his songs, I like it. NSFW cause of language.
8. Cleveland councilman questions density, land use of $10 million apartment plan in University Circle CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A $10 million apartment project in University Circle is on shaky ground, after a Cleveland councilman tabled a rezoning request for the property. WXZ Development Inc. has been working for more than a year on plans for Hazel at the Circle, a 59-unit apartment community on Hazel Drive. Scheduled to start construction by June, the project would replace parking spaces with high-end rentals aimed at graduate students, young doctors and people with short-term positions in the medical and educational communities. But City Councilman Jeff Johnson, whose ward includes Hazel, believes the project might involve too many apartments for a 1.4-acre site. And he's not convinced that renters - rather than buyers - are the right market. Last week, Johnson decided to hold off on sending a rezoning request for the land to Cleveland City Council. http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2011/02/cleveland_councilman_questions.html
9. I wonder what it looks like inside and what condition it is in. It doesn't look like it is that bad of shape
10. Wouldn't one of the easiest and cheapest ways to improve the square would be to move the bus stops in the middle of the street, like on euclid avenue? Maybe you can add some pedestrian bridges. This would get people waiting off of the sidewalks and open it up and promote a more friendly place to walk and relax. Here is my idea http://tinyurl.com/4scx8qa
11. here there video if it hasnt been posted before
12. I believe that the majority of people on the square will always be transit riders. You can add more "pedestrians", but the number will still be greatly out numbered by people waiting for busses. So if you really want to separate the pedestrians from the transit riders, I believe one of the only ways to do so is the thread it idea they had before. Busses below, park above. Other then that I believe it would be hard to get enough "pedestrians" to lessen the feel of dominance of the "undesirables"
13. Here are a few pictures of the new dorms. Not the best pictures but the best I could at the time. This one is really bad, but it shows the progress.

Didnt ohio have a privatized prison once? And it failed?
15. ^It would be hard to design a building with a transit center underneath it with a huge gap in the bottom so busses can drive though it. A garage is a different thing and buildings can be built on top of them. But building a tower on top of a transit center seems impossible. And if transit riders are so "undesirable" who would want them hanging out around their building even if it could be done. Not going to happen.
16. ^ The spot on public square is not a good idea. And you dont have to look at detroit for a transit center, we already have one. The Stephanie Tubbs Jones Transit Center by CSU.
17. I think transit can stay, and should, but the set up should be altered.
18. ^Would you rather let the companies leave though?
19. I would like to see office campuses along midtown. I know thats not a popular idea on here but ill tell you why. Some companies want to have a campus, and currently they really dont have a place for that in the city. If we were able to get a campuses there, it would definitely improve the look of the street, retain business looking to move into an office campus, and possibly even attract new business who want to an office campus. For business who want towers, you have downtown, and for medical/hightech businesses you have University Circle. That way you would have space for everybody and it would improve the look. Hell, imagine if Eaton would have chose to build a campus there as well as American Greetings, it would have a huge effect on the area. I would choose that over whats planned now and over waiting decades for the chance of residential developments happening which I dont see happening anyways.
20. yes, I would like to develop housing downtown and university circle before we try bringing it to midtown, which really does not make sense at this time and why no developer is interested
21. ^ Not everybody has a talent like that though. But it does add a nice vibe
22. ^ Couldnt we have tried to trade them
