  1. Hopefully when they update their fleet they get the connected trains
  2. If the Higbee building is kept as part of the casino that will add good connectivity to East 4th and Euclid Avenue
  3. Wow McCleveland, that story sounds unbelievable and pathetic. Something needs to be done. I have been in similar situations with the healthline, except for their was no empty car, and luckily nobody got hurt. But how packed the car was seriously dangerous and its only a matter of time until a story like yours happens here. Seems like for the rapids, they either need to use the second car or run more frequently, and for the healthline, they need to run more frequently, with less back to back cars which delays though whole system.

  10. ^thanks for the heads up! Dan Gilbert's gaming company and Caesars purchase property for Cleveland casino Developers of Cleveland's downtown casino have purchased for $85 million the 16 acres between Huron Road and the Cuyahoga River where they plan to build their $600 million casino. And Thursday, developer Rock Ohio Caesars will announce what part the historic Higbee building will play in their plans for the downtown casino. Local officials had asked the developer to consider opening a first phase of the Casino in a location like Higbee because the permanent Huron Road casino wouldn't open until at least 2013. Tuesday, word that a press conference had been called by Cleveland Cavaliers majority owner Dan Gilbert and Caesars Entertainment Corp. Chief Executive Officer Gary Loveman came within hours of the news that the pair's joint venture had finalized the purchase of the Huron Road property, including the air rights, from Forest City Enterprises Inc. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2011/02/post_421.html

MTS, you are like the definition of minority come to think of it. If he put you on the cabinet, I think we would have every minority group covered. But then again I think we would much rather prefer his current group ;)
  13. damnit you know what i mean lol. ARENA. I was just looking at Cleveland Browns stuff and the LA football stadium and I had it in my head

Statistically, it really doesn't make sense to have asians, indians, latinos, or other ethnic groups on the cabinet. Its sure fine if they are on there im just saying its not like they are being unrepresented. Statistically there should be about 4 or 5 blacks. But there are more factors such as political party, ideology, and maybe who he knows and trusts. I think 1 or 2 blacks would have given him less of an out lash

Im thinking there is no way he meant he doesn't need black people when he said that. I agree with the guys above.
  16. it would be nice to give those kids a sold out stadium! Unfortunately thats not realistic with the current attendance rates. It would be nice to see it at least half filled though
  17. I think its almost time to update this poll
  18. Even a "Mall D" would still be pretty costly, hell id even take a simple bridge for now.
  19. I thought Jacksonville seemed like a prime candidate since they were having a hard time selling out their stadium for a winning team but last season they stepped up from what I heard. I was just thinking from Mike Browns perspective.
  20. ^ I was under the impression it would be connected more so then just a long tunnel.
  21. There I added another option
  22. What kind of turnout do you get? Hopefully it grows this summer!
  23. Interesting, you should add the land north of the Browns stadium too
  24. Goodbye bengals? I understand LA has the second biggest tv market, but they just dont seem to support there football teams. I dont know why they think it would be any different this time. EDIT: Now they think they could support 2 teams? I can hear it now, "Both Ohio NFL teams will still be playing in the NFL next season, except for one thing, they will be heading to a sunnier place, LA that is, and the rivalry will stay in tack. This is a great day for the NFL" http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nfl/news/story?id=6078709&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines
  25. There always seems to be a good amount of people on here during the day, so I was wondering, how/when you guys go on.
