Cleveland: Downtown: Mall Development and News
Yes like I said, but Cadmann has a larger surrounding population which is why I said if the Warhouse District lots get filled in then the mall would do really good, but it still has enough of population, lunch crowd, and posible visitors if an attraction is put in place, to have a good sized crowd.

^ Cadmann Plaza still has a decent amount of residencies in close proximity. If the warehouse district lot would fill up then I could see the mall really doing well. I think it still has the ability to do well without the added residencies though.

If some sort of an attraction is added, people will come. And it will always get a pretty decent sized lunch crowd.

Vegetarians?
^ahahah thats what I was thinking. Thats like saying "Im not a murderer, I only kill someone once a week." But less extreme. Apparently he sees nothing wrong with it if he enjoys, and chooses to eat meat every so often. I bet you can convert him if you really tried.

Placemark 1 is spoken for - they're building a parking garage for Calfee Halter there. Thanks, I forgot about that project, have they started yet? All of our narrower side streets seem to turn into parking garage rows. Except for east 4th or course, and East 6th is half

Architecture Idea Question
I was thinking of a design that would be interesting and was wondering if it already existed somewhere and if it would be possible. I was wondering if having elevators run on the outside of the building be possible/ has it been done. I think it would a awesome sight from the street watching a row of elevators on the outside of the building running up and down, it would almost be like a piece of art. It would also be an awesome experience for elevator riders themselves. I guess this is kind of what I was thinking but with less elevators http://www.quocunque.com/where/images/napoli_direzionale_01.jpg

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
From the rendering it appears that the east side of the building which faces the mall with have a walkway by the windows, and it looks like the showrooms on the north-side of the buildings will have windows inside them. http://www.clevelandmedicalmart.com/about/architecture/

Cleveland: Downtown: Mall Development and News
"The city will retain ownership of the surface of the Mall, which it wants to become a much more vibrant public park and a catalyst for other development nearby, especially housing." I think that's really what's needed to animate the mall. While people like to talk about the benefits of preserving a master plan that's over 100 years old, the fact is that mall space doesn't have anything to "feed" it. It there was a 30-story apartment complex whose main entrance spilled out onto it, you'd have people riding bikes, running, walking dogs, reading, eating, etc. But you have a bunch of civic buildings whose entrances/exits don't even face the mall. Where would it go?

^ Nice lol. But wouldn't that create a problem with trying to find a way to attach it to the buildings without damaging them?

Cleveland Snowfall
^ I know what you mean with that last part lol To be honest, I didn't even think this winter has even been that bad so far. And we can handle it if it does get bad. People on the east coast like NYC are freaking out like its the end of the world.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
So we got a new Special Teams Coordinator. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2011/01/cleveland_browns_hire_former_b.html So far im happy with all the decisions so far. Im glad we didn't go for some recycled head coach like Fox. Gruden wasn't going to happen and im glad cause I thought he was over rated, he had a lot of poor seasons including several losing seasons. Cowher would have never come here. And im glad we got a new guy. Im really happy Daboll is gone because he sucked, one of the worst in the NFL. Unfortunate Seely left but I think his replacement has a good resume. I think it was the right time for change with head coach, I didnt hate Mangini but he had his problems, including half time adjustments(partly Dabolls fault as well) but it was time for change in my opinion. Ryan was over rated too I think, he did alright, but we gave up a lot of yards, not points, but yards, which eventually can lead to points. Our defense looked terrible against Pittsburgh and Ryan doesnt know how to keep his mouth shut, like his brother.
