  1. I think it would be interesting to have a sports line which takes people from Progressive Field and the Q to East 4th, the Warehouse district, and why the hell not, parking lots. It would get them more familiar with public transportation and maybe they would even take a liking to it. It would only have to run on days when there is an event, even concerts.
  2. Who isnt! I think it would have been better if it came downtown though. Thats a store that would draw a crowd
  3. Well thats what the E line does. And no other route took you from East 9th to Euclid Avenue and East 4th so that is a gain for all of those workers.
  4. Whats the best small urban towns near Cleveland? Ohio sure has a lot of them so I was wondering what were the best ones by Cleveland? I might want to go check a few out.
  5. They believe 5 short paragraphs are enough! I think, at least hope, that once the construction starts, less of grounds preparation, that they will really cover this thing good like you suggested.
  6. I made all the routes to the best of my ability on a map here: http://tinyurl.com/4vc38mg Zooming in gives more detail It helps get an idea on what parts of downtown are served by the trolleys
  7. The C line is almost like the C and E line combined.

It is fucked up. I took it and it told me I constantly feel like everybody is watching me and the I always feel like people are talking about me. The funny thing is that I put false to both of the questions!
  9. If I remember correctly he did that after they did the final kneel down to win the game
  10. Yeah, I was hoping he would land it. And did you see all the jets players put there arms up and pretend like they were flying? The worst part was that after the game they did that circling the patriots. And Rex Ryan running into the endzone to celebrate a touchdown before the game ended? I was thinking about rooting for the Jets against the Steelers but thats impossible, I hate the Jets to much, so unfortunately, since nothing worked out the way I hoped, Im rooting for the Steelers to beat the Jets.
  11. I looked and didnt see any thread for Ohio City for non construction/projects So here is the Discussion thread for the Ohio City neighborhood. I was in Ohio City last month and I noticed that they have really poor crosswalk lights. I think that is something that needs to be addressed to make the neighborhood more walking friendly. I took the train over(I feel like the stop needs to tie into west 25th better) and when I got to the cross walk, it was almost impossible to see. Not really safe and not a good first impression. It didn't really affect my opinion of course, but for someone from the outside, it could.
  12. and didnt someone mention that LEDs dont really get hot which would be a problem in the winter with the snow sticking to them?

Since there will be fewer people, will the people in place now have more responsibilities? If so then the raises aren't bad.
  14. but i believe KJP meant an indoor track for bikes.
  15. They do have an indoor track, basketball courts, all purpose court(volleyball, soccer, hockey, badminton, etc.), two pools, ping pong, billiards, air hockey, etc, and all the other stuff thats in a rec center like weights and yoga rooms. I am pretty sure there is not a rock climbing wall though.
  16. ^ Thanks a lot, thats what I thought but I wasn't sure. No clue about La Strada though. Thanks again. I always wonder if they would be able to move the valet parking entrance to prospect to allow them to close that side of east 4th off to traffic completely and eventually do a possible infill with another retail spot and apartments or condos above.
  17. Where at in beachwood? That sucks
  18. Any body have any information on the location of the Lego Store? Will it be downtown or in a nearby city? I really hope it ends up downtown and not in some suburban development like Crocker Park or Legacy Village. Lets hope. If it does end up downtown, the city with this and Dredgers Union, could see the beginning of retail coming back to the city.

^Awesome, im excited for you, you will love the view.
  20. Thanks! Anyone know about the Wonder Bar La Strada Chinato and Dredgers Union Buildings?
  21. I felt like this finally deserves its own thread Looks like me might get to see the design after tuesday This article goes into a little more detail than previous ones <b>Celebrezze tower renovation in Cleveland is a national test case on balancing preservation and energy conservation</b> It's big, it's green, and it's shaping up as a national test case on how to balance architectural preservation with the need to address climate change. Experts say the upcoming $121 million renovation of the A.J. Celebrezze Federal Building in downtown Cleveland could be the first time a high-rise tower in the United States is wrapped with a new glass facade on all four sides, leaving the original facade intact and visible. The second skin will create an insulating cushion of air in the 2.5-foot gap between the old and new facades.... http://www.cleveland.com/arts/index.ssf/2011/01/celebrezze_tower_renovation_in.html
  22. A small story <b>The medical mart gets moving: editorial</b> The remaking of downtown Cleveland is under way. Friday morning, civic, business and political leaders joined top executives of Chicago-based MMPI at a ceremonial groundbreaking for the long-discussed medical mart and convention center project. Admit it: There's a part of you that feared the day would never come.... http://www.cleveland.com/opinion/index.ssf/2011/01/the_medical_mart_gets_moving_e.html
  23. I think its great that we have a ton of local guys, but we are probably going to need some big out of town guys to really get a national draw. Great to see this thing moving along!

Yeah my bad, just got heated. And trust me, I definitely wouldn't look for good posts cause I honestly can't stand the guy. Just seems like a piece of shit corrupt bastard lol. It just seemed like he was getting over attacked. Im not a huge fan of Obama either and I sure dont think he needs to be criticized over everything he does though. Sorry though. And im glad you took George Forbes as an insult lol, not that I was trying to insult you, but its funny.
