  1. I wouldnt go that far. Both cities in the end for some reason seem to like to talk sh!t on each other. And I dont get the point of arguing this. It was a nice picture ruined by 2 pages of dumb@$s arguements
  2. Im using google chrome for my mac and i dont have that problem. Try getting Chrome
  3. ^ How many of these companies end up moving?
  4. Tremont had over 3000 people in poverty in the last census. There has to be affordable housing there. Im glad the people are taking interest in the city though Edit: Tremont has half of the population of North Collinwood but only about 400 less people in poverty, according to the 2000 census.
  5. Could all that effort be better off with the continuation of the improvement of Ohio City and Tremont. Lets get a few stable neighborhoods instead of a few blocks.
  6. I rode Lolly the Trolly last summer and enjoyed the ride and the facts. But while in Chicago I was really impressed with their Hop on Hop off Double Decker bus tour. This allowed riders to get dropped off at several locations throughout the city and then every so often another bus comes back and you can hop right back on and go to another location. There is a tour guide who tells you about the city and stops just like Lolly the Trolley, but I believe the Hop on Hop off tour helps circulate the visitors throughout the city better. On Lolly, you see things that might seem interesting but you are given no opportunity to get off and explore. The Double Decker bus was also a great experience. Sitting up top is a view of the city that can be very interesting and enjoyable, especially on a nice summer day. In a trolley, the roof prevents you from looking up at the buildings and blocks a lot of other sight lines. Chicago also has trolly busses like Lolly and when I was on them, I could really tell the difference between the view of the trolly and the bus. Also the seats are more comfortable. The cramped wooden seats on the trolleys can get a little annoying after a while. Here is a link to the Chicago Hop on Hop off Double Decker bus tour map. http://www.coachusa.com/chicagotrolley/chicagos-best-tour/tour-map.asp
  7. And while in chicago, we stayed north of the river but made sure we visited Millenium Park. I think people would be willing to walk for something special.
  8. That could be vital. The connection to the lake, rock hall, science center, and stadium could really help out its usage. It would be a nice walk for visitors staying at the Marriot who want to go to the rock hall or science center. The Crown Plaza isnt far away either.
  9. When does the full census come out?
  10. My grandpa was telling me how his parents lived in a 3 family home. I believe in the Collinwood neighborhood.
  11. This is great. You two are the first to participate with pictures. Before I was the only one who posted pictures and got a bunch of guesses but no one posted any. Dont forget to number it so it can stay organized! And you've stumped me on this one.
  12. It does. as should

Pittsburgh has a lot going for it in my opinion. They appear to have more foot traffic, more street retail, and there smaller roads make the downtown appear larger then it actually is. Hell im actually a little jealous. Edit: They also have some great architecture. Not saying we dont just saying I wouldn't put them down.
  14. I agree with that. Im glad OSU won but, wow, I cant believe they almost let that lead slip away in the end
  15. I remember when I was younger and had no clue where anything was. I didnt know any of the streets and I just felt like I was in some huge place. Its funny cause I remember sitting in the car looking out the window but I had no clue how we got to each area of the city. I remember pulling up to tower city and just knowing I couldnt wait to go inside, but again, I had no clue how we got there. Its funny now imagining not knowing where I am in the city cause now I basically have the whole city as a map in my mind.
  16. I cant believe they almost let that slip away
  17. ^I cant see the design your talking about
  18. Maybe they have a better chance now that the California parking company got denied of there plans.
  19. Most of you probably know this site but check it out again for a bigger picture. And to me it appears that Over-the-Rhine was more dense but as a whole Cleveland was more dense. http://www.historicaerials.com/
  20. Im not sure if this has been posted but its from forbes in 2009. Cincinnati and Cleveland make the top 10! America's Safest Cities http://www.forbes.com/2009/10/26/safest-cities-ten-lifestyle-real-estate-metros-msa_chart.html
  21. I was there and took pictures during the summer. Its awesome to see the difference between seasons
  22. Agreed!
  23. Bill Cowher is never going to coach the Cleveland Browns. I know he played here, but he built a legacy in pittsburgh. He would never throw that away by coming to Cleveland, Pittsburgh's biggest rival.

Wow looks like a nice city. The whole passports might ruin that trip for now. But a good idea for the future.
