New UO site design suggestions
i think the chat box could be interesting, if you could hide it if you want or if you could choose a certain user to chat with. It would be quicker and more efficient then messaging in certain cases. Plus people could battle out their arguments on that privately instead of on the forum. I guess kind of like the facebook chat. I dont know if that possible or not, just an idea.

Bakeries on the west side of Cleveland?
Best donuts i've ever had are unfortunately a bit of a way from the westside. Biagio's Donut Shop & Pizzeria in Eastlake. They also have some great pizza. Id recommend that place to anyone, very popular, surprisingly, being a locally owned business in a suburb and all. I dont know how people eat that dunkin donut crap. Ew

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
MCPc technology company signs lease to move from Strongsville to Plain Dealer building CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Strongsville technology company has signed a lease and plans to move 165 jobs and its corporate headquarters to the eastern edge of downtown Cleveland. MCPc, a provider of tech products and support services, will move in June to The Plain Dealer's office building at 1801 Superior Ave. The growing company, which is running out of room, wants to be centrally situated for customers. "We're committed to Cleveland and bringing new jobs downtown and we're excited about being in the heart of it all," Beth Stec, director of corporate communications and human resources at MCPc, said Tuesday. "I think the building is so beautiful and state-of-the art that our customers will love to come and visit." http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2010/12/mcpc_technology_company_signs.html

America is Over-Retailed - Too Many Stores
??? :type: Whippersnapper - This expression originated among the cowboys of England, at least as far back as the Elizabethan era. Young boys who weren't yet capable of herding cattle from horseback were taught how to drive livestock by loudly cracking a bull whip. Proud of their ability to produce the explosive "bang" of the whip, those youngsters often became an annoying nuisance to others by their constant racket. What are you implying??

America is Over-Retailed - Too Many Stores
"is like minutes"? :wtf: is about?

America is Over-Retailed - Too Many Stores
Legacy Village is like a minute away from the Beachwood mall which is like 5 minutes away from the Richmond mall. And there are plenty other strip centers in-between. Edit: Beachwood mall is also about 10 minutes away from Severance Town Shopping Center and about 5 minutes from the University Square shopping center. Even worse then I thought

Should Student Athletes Get Paid?
A lot of the money that those big sports make goes to help support other programs in the school. If they paid the athletes, several of the smaller sports would have to be dropped.

Should Student Athletes Get Paid?
Exactly.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I think everybody here would love to see more apartments in Ohio City, and downtown. Right not unfortunately that is not likely. We will just have to wait until that one day when projects can finally get the funding they need :(

Should Student Athletes Get Paid?
And if for some dumb@$s reason they did allow the players to get paid, how about the schools instead take the education requirements more seriously. You can be one of the best football players out there but if you dont have the grades, you cant get into a paying school. You'd be stuck at a program like BGSU where they cant pay you and only the smart athletes who take education seriously can get into the good programs and actually get paid. But I am still against the idea of paying student athletes 100%

Should Student Athletes Get Paid?
They should not get paid. One reason is that if they did get pay, they then become professionals. Secondly many of them do get compensation with the free tuition and room and board. And also only the big school really make money on the programs. So does that mean smaller schools like Kent athletes dont get paid. It really doesn't make any sense to pay them.

Above Cleveland
Sorry for keep bringing old picture threads back but there are some excellent shots in this one. I love pictures like this which show the density of downtown. Cleveland looks better in an aerial then in a skyline shot in my opinion. I think it looks good in both though. :-D

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Thats because new stadiums have to many lounges where everybody in the mid section stays in there instead of sitting in their seats. Thats why that whole section of new stadiums always are empty. Everybody is just inside. And its hard to get hardcore fans when the price of tickets are for the rich who are just mild fans and go their to mingle.
