Cleveland: How diverse are we?
Im amazed to see how divided Cleveland is by race. Whites mostly on the westside, blacks mostly on the eastside. Look at these neighborhood breakdowns. Westside: Eastside:

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
Best for what? Best stock of houses? Best streets to live? I want to take someone on a tour of the area and wanted to know what streets where the best to show them? I like Joy, Bridge, Franklin, West 44th, and Clinton in Ohio City. Tremont I like West 11th, West 14th, Fruit, West 10th, Fairfield and Professor. Your question was just fine btw - It was a quick, random question. Answers should be as well. Some people apparently don't get that. Thanks! That helped a lot. I checked them out on googlemaps real quick. Did you mean Jay when you said Joy?

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
There isn't much Victorian architecture in Tremont. If you're looking for that style, though, walk around Lincoln Park (look at W. 11 and Starkweather, especially,) and the entire length of W. 14th street. There are some gorgeous mansions still standing, and they're clustered west and north of Lincoln Park and south of Clark Avenue. I asked about Ohio City and Tremont

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
What about... What streets have the best restored Victorians? And I can appreciate the new housing as well, so I would assume Literary and West 5th and 6th would be good for that. But what streets have the best restorations? Are those a little better questions?

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
We definitely need more busses running at several times of the day. I feel like 3:00 needs more busses too. I also feel like the busses get bunched up a lot. It was aggravating to see 4 busses travel east in the time I was waiting for a bus traveling West.

They are working on the 3 floor today. Also looks like they have a lot of snow to remove. You can see people throwing shovels full of snow out the windows.- Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)

Are there any thread of the restoration process of already restored houses?- Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
I think we have 67 now At 66 and counting, homicides decline steeply in Cleveland during 2010 CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland could end 2010 with the fewest homicides in a decade, perhaps even a half-century. The year-to-date total of 66 is three shy of the 50-year low, according to records compiled by the city's Public Safety Department. Homicides dropped to the second-lowest level -- 75 -- in 2000.... http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2010/12/at_66_and_counting_homicides_d.html- Admit Your Cultural Blasphemy!
I also believe Michael Jackson was overrated. And he grew a huge fan support after he died- Where do you live????
The And all the while I was trying to get into downtown, and all you motherf#ckers were blocking my way! Humph! Stupid weather men - I totally would've taken the rapid if this would've been in the forecast. The Chicago Bulls stayed like 2 blocks away from the Q and it took them 30 minutes to get there- Where do you live????
Or more better yet, you're not actually superior if you have to argue for it. i.e., I know I'm superior, but I'm not going to engage in a debate about it because I don't really give a f^ck what you think - you're not relevant. Joking (sort of ;) ) aside, the East Side/West Side issue is still noticable...at least to my wife who is not from Cleveland...she picked up on it. But it is diminishing as fewer people live in actual territory that is considered East/West and move to the suburbs (i.e., Mayfield Heights v Westlake doesn't count). how about Eastlake vs Westlake. Granted neither have anything interesting going for them! LOL Their is a small rivalry between the two even though almost nobody from either city knows someone in the other. I think its basically just the name. I am originally from Eastlake and remember people making little jokes about the rivalry, nothing serious though. And anybody remember this? http://blog.cleveland.com/pdopinion/2007/09/myhometown.jpg- Where do you live????
I think the main thing is that most people hardly ever if never, travel to the other side of town. They know and are comfortable with their side. - Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
