  1. I just hope that last two months dont have the most like they did last year. This whole chart is pretty interesting, tells you by month and district. http://media.cleveland.com/metro/photo/02cgcrimejpg-dc84f20a1a44c009.jpg
  2. Thanks, that number, although still high, is a great improvement over last year. With two months left I could see us being under 80. Cleveland had 55 murders already last year by July 2nd. And we ended the year with 120. So if we could drop 40 murders this year, that would be a great improvement.
  3. Does anyone know how many murders we are at this year so far?
  4. at least it is more active than it was before. There are always a lot of students walking down euclid avenue and using the student centers front door.
  5. Good! Lets hope that happens soon.
  6. And could you put something like this over ontario or superior, or even from the corner of the southwest quad to the bottom corner of the north east quad.
  7. I bet many people on hear would oppose this but it could possibly work. Cut the Northwest Quadrant in two and put a bus only lane on it. This is the worst rendering ever so dont laugh
  8. Just move all of the busses to the northwest quadrant and free up the other 3 for the public walking through or relaxing.
  9. Exactly one or the other. And it will most likely remain a bus station.
  10. I would like the mayfield road station
  11. I think the blue/green line cars look nice and are comfortable. The redline is what vistors new to the city take from the airport and that is what they see. I would prefer that they got the nicer interiors so that they would have a better experience.
  12. I just think the malls have more potential, thats why I dont believe the square needs a total makeover. And I wasn't really a fan of any of them, the thread it was cool but doesn't seem realistic.
  13. I love the guy with the sax. Anyone notice the younger white kid with the guitar, he believe he is a new one
  14. Am I correct that the red line gets more use? So they renovated the blue/green line cars in 2000. Their interiors definitely looks better than the red line, the red line is just plain ugly. Do you know if they plan on renovating the red line cars since they don't plan on replacing them?
  15. Im not sure if anyone noticed but googlemaps updated the streetview to the higher quality images(now everywhere not just intersections). Well this is true for Cleveland at least.
  16. Do they plan on replacing the red lines cars? I would assume the Red Line gets the most use but has the oldest crappiest cars.
  17. Ohio city can be like the training ground for businesses before they move downtown
  18. ClevelandOhio replied to a post in a topic in Urbanbar
    you can turn it off
  19. Mccoy looked good on sunday, better then i was expecting
  20. Well you can look at it as getting one really strong neighborhood. Thats the most we can be excited about. And that Room Service is doing good enough that they need a bigger space.
  21. yeah are there any renderings of what was originally proposed?
  22. The amount of garbage infront of the Terminal Tower, especially on weekends can be ridiculous. Sometimes I have to dodge it all when im walking trying to find a clean place to step, and I agree that the southwest quadrant also has a garbage problem. The garbage and people yelling is what makes it the most uninviting. And when you walk along the northwest quadrants sidewalk, everyone stares at you, because you basically walk through a tunnel of people, some waiting by curb and some waiting against the wall/bench, and I see how people visiting here could find that unwelcoming and seem like an unfriendly area.
  23. Let's condense all the stops to the northwest quadrant and free up all the other ones to be nice parks
  24. What is your opinion on little italy north of mayfield road? A lot of the housing seems to be cheap and of little or no historical importance. This seems like it could be an area that would be a candidate for a makeover. New streets, sidewalks and houses. With its location being so close to the hospitals and a rapid line, it seems like it could be a very popular place for employees to live. Plus being little italy and having the old restaurants and stuff would help to. And to clearify, when I say new housing, I dont mean suburban, I mean dense urban housing, like they did over in tremont. http://tinyurl.com/24rukx6
