  1. Public Square is not a friendly place to be, thats why I believe the malls have a better chance of becoming something cool. And yes we put a lot of emphasis on public square and so when people come and visit and check it out, its not what they were expecting. Euclid Avenue to me seems like a friendly place to be and is a more true depiction of the city than Public Square.
  2. I always hear and see people yelling and talking really loud which makes the area uninviting. And kids shoving each other and disrespecting the people around them.
  3. This also becomes a problem infront of the Terminal Tower
  4. Where is the wooden street in Cleveland?
  5. Make the walk from the rapid station feel more alive

I have always loved Chicago, better place than New York City in my opinion
  7. for someone who doesn't know what they are doing it can be confusing because it automatically starts you off with a senior/disability ticket
  8. Mangini and Daboll owe their jobs to Harrison. They were against him all season, with Magini basically saying he wanted a tough running back over an elusive one. They hardly played him and everytime Harrison went in Daboll gave him a play where he got no FB and they ran him right down the middle. Harrison is the type of guy who is better off running to the side with a FB lead blocking
  9. ^ fucking bullshit. Fuck the browns
  10. Yeah the rapids can be a bit confusing.
  11. I feel like the malls are close enough to public square for the public transportation side of things but you dont get all of the people just waiting and getting in the way. Unless like the design that everyone liked where the park was above and the busses were below but that just seems to be way more expensive then redesigning the malls into something cool
  12. I feel like the malls have more potential since they are not a transit hub
  13. This picture is from later than 1920. Demolition for the Terminal Group (aside from Hotel Cleveland) didn't start until 1922. This picture is probably from 1925-1927. The Union Terminal Tower was structurally complete by 1928. The 1920s were a very smoky time but very busy in terms of downtown construction. Look at how much more soot Hotel Cleveland (built 1918) has on it, even though its exterior is made of the same material as Terminal Tower's. Most of the downtown buildings in the 1920s were built with similar exteriors. So look at all the other buildings with "clean" facades as soot had yet to darken them. You can see Euclid Avenue was the focus of much construction in the 1920s. Your right. I didn't even pay attention when I typed 1920. Maybe i meant the 1920's. Idk
  14. The year was 1909...
  15. I love the constant spell checker, I use it all the time
  16. I have had 4 PCs and they did weird things all the time and would run slow for no reason. And I am good with computers and im not stupid enough to click on those things so its not my fault that the computer is running slow. I can have more things running at once with my Mac and my experience has been way more enjoyable. It never jams or runs slow. When I go back and use my PC it drives me crazy how slow it is.
  17. So a computer comparable to a macbook pro would be only $200? After getting my mac its hard to use a PC. Macs run so much smoother and dont have weird crashes and jams. Everything has been really good since i've got it.
  18. When will we learn
  19. good decision
  20. That is beautiful. Now if only we could get downtown to look like that everyday
  21. look at big the construction site is for the terminal tower complex. I was feeling bad awhile ago for all the buildings we lost, but then I thought...hey look at the warehouse district, its not like those buildings would still be there anyway, at least we got a beautiful iconic skyscraper out of it instead of more parking lots.
