  1. If we get 6 votes id be amazed! So what time do we find out?!
  2. It looks like retail might be a part of the euclid ground floor space now.
  3. Are Lakewood crimes not included, or is the line that stark? No, this is for Cleveland only.
  4. ^ If you have a mac, drag the gif onto your desktop. When you open it up you can watch it frame by frame. You can probably do the same thing on PC.
  5. A quick overview of crime in the area. You can tell where the safer pockets are. Reported crime within the past 90 days.
  6. Several air conditioner units stolen in Ohio City. I guess that is a big thing over there in the winter as people don't necessarily notice right away.

Since 2010 the Browns won 18 of 62, Cavs won 73 of 254, and Indians won 309 of 648. It has been quite miserable.
  8. Most of the spaces have been leased at no cost or very little cost I believe. This is in hope that some of these places will make money and eventually be able to pay rent. It's also in hope that a more active space will attract new tenants who can pay, and the non paying tenants would be easily kicked out.
  9. ^ that is crazy. Any info on whether the camera got a good shot of the person and whether or not they have been caught?

I haven't watched a single cavs game this season and have missed the last couple Browns games. I never thought I would say this, but I don't miss it one bit. I used to watch every browns game, and a lot of cavs games. All it did was ruin my day. Don't get me wrong, I'll be glued to the tv next season watching the Browns. If Lebron comes back or we pick something good up in the draft I'll probably watch the cavs when I can too. This season just hasn't been worth watching. Once they hired Mike Brown I lossed all interest. I still believe he is the reason we never won a championship.
  11. It has always been busy during lunch time due to it being a good cut through, and the food court and Vincenzas Pizza always had a constant crowd. If be interested to see how it is later in the day. Last time I was there the Euclid arcade was still dead but the colonial arcade looked a lot better. It was at night so a lot of things closed making it sort of dead but id still like to see it around the evening rush hour.
  12. It seems like crime is up everywhere. What's going on?! The worst part is that every story the suspect should already be in jail from past offenses. The robberies in Lakewood, and Cleveland Heights, the break ins and tire stealing in Ohio City, and more shootings this year downtown.
  13. Please let's avoid a gun debate. Back on topic, that's a shame KJP. Does your building have controlled entry?
  14. I don't know much about Flynn but after that press conference I would guess that there is no way he is switching. He was laughing and almost mocking the pro streetcar efforts. He seemed worse than the mayor in that press conference.
  15. Hardly knew they existed. Oh well. Lingerie football team Cleveland Crush bolting for Toledo CLEVELAND - Cleveland is losing a football team but this time it’s a lingerie-clad group. The Cleveland Crush, a member of the Legends Football League that plays at Quicken Loans Arena, is moving to Toledo. They will play their games for the upcoming 2014 season at the Huntington Center. http://www.newsnet5.com/sports/sports-blogs-local/lingerie-football-team-cleveland-crush-bolting-for-toledo
  16. Its unfortunate, but I feel like we need this result to happen more often. Home invasions seem to becoming a huge problem. Police: Cleveland home invasion victim shoots, kills suspect CLEVELAND, Ohio – The victim of a home invasion on Cleveland’s East Side Tuesday morning opened fire on the two men who attempted to rob him, killing one suspect and sending the other to the hospital, police said. The armed suspects approached 24-year-old Everton Mosby outside his Rudyard Road residence about 2 a.m. and ordered the victim inside, where they beat and pistol-whipped him, police said. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2013/12/police_cleveland_home_invasion.html
  17. So did the county pay 100% of $725 million it cost to build the Convention Center, Medical Mart, and Hotel? Crocker Park cost $480 million. I think a large mixed use development, like Crocker Park, on the Warehouse District lots would have been a better investment.
  18. Willard Park Garage - 1600 spaces Huntington Park Garage - 1000 spaces Memorial Plaza Garage - 985 spaces That is a total of 3,585 parking spaces directly adjacent to the convention center. I understand that there is a huge demand for parking near key tower during the day, so memorial plaza is probably off the table, but how used are the Willard Park Garage and Huntington Park Garage, both of which are massive?
  19. What was the given reasoning and why did no one call him out on it during the press conference. Seems like an obvious response to his argument that operating costs should have been figured out years ago.
  20. I think the Streetcar project should happen, but was there really no plan for operation costs?
  21. Downtown was a ghost town, and Ohio City was a struggling, run-down retail district with fixer-upper Victorians -- it only saw life on Market Saturday, as it does now (and the Market was the ONLY thing going on aside from the old bookstore on 25th and a few other joints)... Empty nighttime trains out of Terminal Tower was the norm. You never see that today; even on Sundays. At least part of why more people are on the trains is that they were forced to by the end of downtown service on many lines (e.g., 25, 75, 39, 7, 9, 32, etc.). Does RTA publically share ridership data for any of their bus routes? Would be interesting to know if this affected bus ridership.
  22. So where can I watch this?!
  23. Not too familiar with the names or the whole situation, but could it be that they are announcing that the project is moving forward and that "their efforts" took the expense away from city hall. Its a win-win.
  24. Will this be online?
