Another Dumb-a$$ List / Ranking of Cities
Their numbers dont make sense. "New York led the list with 18, followed by Houston with 6, and then Minneapolis and Atlanta with 4 each." Several cities have 4 or more, including Cincinnati and Cleveland. Check out there data... http://www.theatlanticcities.com/jobs-and-economy/2012/07/urban-and-suburban-fortune-500/2525/

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Current connections to the Temple and West Quad. A small renovation and a few new paths is all you need. Not some 7 million dollar bridge. Steps up to the Temple (Right side) Further our shot Steps up to Parklane and East 107th I highlighted some of the current pathways, and added some possible new ones

Cleveland: Case Western Reserve University News & Info
Is there a timeline for this project? I like the idea of reopening Magnolia. Plus anything that gets rid of those current ugly dorms is good.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
I dont like the idea of a bridge anyways, but the proposed bridge doesnt even cross East 105th, which really doesnt make sense to me. As long as it is funded federally or by Case Western then im fine with it. But I think a better connection can be made than the proposed one. Id like a modified version of this one, but the Wendy Park one, to me, seems like a waste, especially if the city has to pay for any of it.

Sailing in Cleveland
Awesome thanks! You are the first person I have seen to capture my favorite view of the skyline, with your first picture. Too bad you didn't have a better camera on you, but still great pictures.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Not enough of traffic to warrant that much for a bridge that costs way too much, and is way too long. The bridge will isolate you from everything else. I think the same goal can be achieved with a nice pathway through the park, instead of over it.

Lakeview Terrace - Cleveland
But when will they realize large public housing developments like this do not work? The new ones in Central are worse than the old ones and need to be torn down an redesigned in my opinion. The violent crime there is ridiculous. The new single family houses in Central is the only thing that seems to be working. Who's the terrible architect who decided to put hidden courtyards in between all of the units in the newer ones in Central, and who was the person who accepted those plans? They need to be fired or something. It sucks, but you cant trust the people living there with that space. There needs to be no hidden courtyards or spaces anywhere in those developments.

^ Yeah, the one to Wendy Park seems like a huge waste of money to me. Will the actual usage be worth the cost?

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Its cool, but as of now, its a bridge to nowhere. Also its kind of expensive and too long of a bridge. I think the same connection can be made for way less money and also be more practical.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I dont like the location either, and the fact that not one Cleveland location exists. But atleast its in Western Mentor, which serves a way bigger population than in Eastern Mentor. Western Mentor atleast serves the other lakefront suburbs such as Willoughby, Eastlake, Willowick

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Its unfortunate they didnt end up in Downtown Willoughby instead.

Cleveland: Downtown: Jack Cleveland Casino - Phase 2
You'd have to be one hell of an alcoholic to recoup that money spent on flying and a hotel.

Cleveland: Cleveland Institute of Art Expansion
I havent noticed any traffic over there anytime Im there. Maybe its worse during rush hour, but I think ive been around there then too. And yes, residential mixed use would be great there. University Circle is already awesome and keeps on getting better. There is so much potential there.

Cleveland: Cleveland Institute of Art Expansion
Yeah, and its one hideous building! Cant wait to see it torn down! http://goo.gl/maps/CAiK It will open up a large 4.43 acres plot of land for development.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Why not just have them park in the Muni and have them take the waterfront line in? So the day after the PD has an article about parking problems in Ohio City, the Indians come out and tell everyone to park there? WTF?

Cleveland: Port Authority News & Info
Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority plan would raise tax rate 400 percent CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Port Authority board's Budget and Administration committee voted to recommend a nearly 400 percent increase in taxes for the port this morning. If the new levy passes, homeowners will pay about $20 per $100,000, to raise an estimated $18 million a year for the port. Property owners currently pay about $3.50 for every $100,000 of assessed home value, raising about $3.2 million to $3.3 million a year. The new levy would last five years to raise $90 million in all. Nearly half of that would be used to fix bulkheads along the Cuyahoga River and the crumbling hillside at a section of the river called Irishtown Bend. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2012/07/cleveland-cuyahoga_county_port_1.html

I dont know what peoples problem is with parking. The last game I went to, I parked at the 200 public square garage. Its not that hard to find a spot unless you want to be like 50 feet away from the gate. But im glad to hear about this idea.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I dont know if i agree with that. Hopefully the stadium would be down Lorain a bit and it could further expand the district. thousands and thousands of people go to st. ignatius games, many live in the suburbs. I think that helps alot of businesses out. This may be a long shot, but I hope to God that the new sports facility proposal can lead to tearing down the clunky additions to the school. These are the boxy buildings adjacent to the current athletic field. It mars the views of the school. The main building, well, it's really such a beautiful structure that they should never have compromised it in that way. edit: here it is... What are those buildings used for? Could they demolish those, and put the stands there?

Whats wrong with their current field?

You know I agree with you on this. It just makes too much sense that I fear the city wont think of it.
