Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
I've seen it a million times and the video shows it perfectly so I'm not actually using this video to determine it, I just think it shows it. And I'm saying while waiting at a station. While waiting for an westbound bus that took over 25 minutes to arrive, I see 3 eastbound busses, either spreadout or bunched up, before my one westbound bus ever arrives. This has happened numerous times and for both directions

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
I came across this video and while watching it, I thought it demonstrated the Healthline's flaw perfectly. At the one minute point in the video, the bus stops at a station. It takes over a minute for it to finally leave that station and continue on its trip towards University Circle. This is wasted time at each station that make the trip longer than it should be and causes the bunching of the busses (Three westbound busses before you see even one eastbound bus). Cleveland: Shoreway Boulevard Conversion
The right wing ideologues in the legislature who are products of Ohio's gerrymandered districts and uncompetitive primaries will ensure that there is no gasoline tax hike. They live in this world of delusion that the motoring public should not have to pay for the roads they use. Ohio has the 8th highest gas tax, which is higher than Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Vermont, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Delaware, Connecticut, and Maryland, all of which are BLUE states.

Wolstein is on CWRU land. Everything else mentioned is on UH land. If Case wants to expand they have the west quad and I wouldn't mind them demolishing the dental and nursing buildings and having that large lot to redevelop. UH on the other hand is pretty landlocked. I would love to see them demolish those parking garages over there, but that would require some major residential development over there for their employees.

Was this on the chopping block as well? If so, unacceptable. These need to be protected! http://goo.gl/maps/aVy6

^ They definitely look worse in person. And the landscaping is terrible. But they are owned by UH not UCI. All that property is owned by UH. There is also a nice apartment building on the street. http://goo.gl/maps/cFk9 I personally believe the whole street should be landmarked.

^ Added a link to that view. I surprised these havent been renovated. Especially with its location near UH, CWRU, and Little Italy!

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Anybody know the story behind these? They seem to be in bad shape and possibly abandoned? http://goo.gl/maps/mmrt http://goo.gl/maps/u2sU And also those houses on East 115th? Better shape, but who lives there? The city shows that all of this is owned by University Hospitals.

Doan School is affordable: http://www.famicos.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8&Itemid=46 Damn I would have loved to see those go market rate. Not sure how they would do though. But I do think market rate would have worked well with University Tower Apartments.

Is that old school going to be market rate or no?

I'm hoping that at some point they will put an additional building with some structured parking and more residential in the middle of those blocks, but that's just my urbanista fantasy. I actually made a mock up of this back on page 80

I might be the only one, but I found the Goodtime to be quite boring. Slightly depressing too because it was right after a river tour in Chicago.

Cleveland-Akron: Bicycling Developments and News
I also think a rapid station there would be cool. It would serve the stadiums nicely. Have a nice large "To Tracks" sign so that everyone on the gateway plaza could see, and so everyone stuck in traffic and waiting to get in the parking garage could see people easily walking up from the station and into the stadium with no problem
