Does anyone know if its easy or possible to remove the siding on that building to expose the bricks? Will the bricks be in good shape or damaged?

Upper Prospect definitely has some neat structures on it. Its unfortunate the street isnt in better condition overall though. Still, some great old houses and buildings.

And there is brick under the yellow building home to La Barberia! And today http://g.co/maps/eh7bh Lets tear that off and expose the old brick! And while your at it, remove the outdated blue awnings on the three story building to the right of it!

That building would look great if those newer bricks were torn out and a real glass storefront was put in.

The Rock Hall needs a rock themed restaurant. Or any place that serves actual food. I wouldn't care as much that the HRC leaves an awesome rock themed restaurant opened in the HOF.

In all of their interviews, Heckert and Holmgren appear to love our receiving core and dont think any change is needed. While every Browns fan on the planet is screaming the exact opposite.

The Browns are great at making it hard to be excited.

The Crowne Plaza was a mess. They didnt take care of the property. Only had 100 usable rooms, and one working elevator. The Westin will be a great addition.

And will only get worse

Did not get to see the Oak Room, but the Silver Grill and especially the Greenbriar Suite was awesome to see.

So this project warrants 1,300 new parking spaces? 200 public square only offers 757 spaces and is a much larger space. So for that reason, I do not believe a skywalk is needed. The garage might be useful for Little Italy, Uptown, and MOCA though. It will be a disgrace, if this garage is built like your average parking garage bunker. Make it have great interaction with the street, with retail spaces along Mayfield. The best scenario would be to knock it down to a 400 car garage and fill the mayfield frontage with 1 floor of retail and 6 floors of apartments. Also make the entrance and exit to the garage on Circle Drive. Im scared that they will make the entrance on Mayfield based on the renderings.

Is their room for possible retail spaces along Perk Park in the Ohio Savings Building? That would definitely give the park an extra boost

And it is set up beautifully for street level retail! But I can see them ruining it for parking garage entrances or other terrible uses.

I really hope something finally happens! This part of Euclid Ave is so grand, but in an incredibly disappointing state.

Perk park would be a great amenity for those apartments!

I agree with everything Hts121 just said. Little Italy seems like a better fit for you, if you find a unit that you like. You also have a higher density rate and better connectivity to other great neighborhoods in Little Italy compared to Tremont. With greater walkability, lower crime, higher connectivity, and easy access to the red line and the healthline, I think Little Italy is the best fit for you!
