Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
The pedestrian bridge is just weird to me. Seems like a very long, isolated walk. The covered walkway seems awkward and would feel especially isolated.

Northeast Ohio: Regionalism News & Discussion
I don't see any benefit in taking East Cleveland for Cleveland.

ColDay2013: Chicago & Cleveland
I don't think it was necessarily an insult on Cleveland. I think it was just a comment on the locations ColDayMan had a chance to photograph.

Cleveland: Transit Ideas for the Future
Wouldn't the transfers from Blue to Green, Green to Blue, Blue to Red, and Red to Blue all count as an additional rider, massively boosting RTA's ridership figures? They'd love that.

Cleveland: Transit Ideas for the Future
Considering it could use public rights of way for almost all of its routing, about $120 million. Sign me up! Seriously though where do you go from here? How do you push this to RTA. It should really be considered, and more so than the city of Euclid expansion.

I've always been a big fan of a Fairmount extension. It serves a stable population, solid urban center(Cedar Fairmount) and like you said could include a Coventry branch. This could further support development in Cedar Fairmount and lower Little Italy. Additionally it reaches the areas that are primarily commuting to University Circle, which the other route option ignores. What is your estimated cost for the Cedar Fairmount route?

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
I walked by the other day and didn't notice anything. Wouldn't it have been on design review? Could the poster be confused with University Place Townhomes which is 19 units as well but is located on East 118th?

Cleveland: Transit Ideas for the Future
^ one thing I noticed that Toronto uses for their streetcars, as well as other cities, is that for their POP everyone boarding must enter through the front door, usually showing the driving your payment. People exiting can exit the front or back door. This did not slow down boarding at all and also cracks down on people not paying. I think the Healthline should implement this.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
^ I put it on the piece of shit who stole her phone. There obviously are a bunch of thugs who ride the bus/train. Most won't bother you, directly, but once in awhile they act out while still on public transportation. Two days in a row I heard these guys talking. The first guy was on the healthline and talking on the phone really loud about how someone had a "clear shot" on him and how he is "still standing" and basically repeated that 20 times with a lot of f-words and n-words in the middle. Mentioned a gun as well. The second day a different guy was talking to a friend, again very loudly, who was a girl about his time is prison, guns, random stories, and again a crap load of f-words and n-words. Then on the red line a group of kids were just screaming there two favorite words over and over. An older gentlemen in front of me was shaking his head in disgust. Most people on train/bus just want to get where they are going and act civil and respectful of others. But there almost always seems to be atleast one person completely unaware of their surroundings.

Cleveland: Little Italy Neighborhood Discussion
What the hell has been going on in Little Italy. Someone is vandalizing everything possible, sides of buildings, electric boxes, walls, etc with graffiti. The railroad underpass is filled with it. The cemetery wall up the hill is also tagged. It's been a problem the past month or so and I've seen it cleaned up but it keeps happening. It's been limited to those two spots but last night it appears someone walked all of mayfield and hit every flat surface including the restaurants. It just plain white or black words(including the f-word). Makes the street look like crap.

Cleveland: Skylift Aerial Tram
I now think the bridge idea to the lake is ridiculous. If you really take a look in person, that would be one hell of a walk, on an isolated bridge. Not a good idea IMO. Seeing the gap in person show how far it truely is.

Walkable Communities
^^ they count even the crappiest of convenient stores as grocery stores. Fun site but majorly flawed IMO.

Walkable Communities
Cool, although it is sad 64 wins most walkable city in Ohio. Things are much better on a neighborhood level throughout the state though. I do have a problem with Walkscorr though as it gives places like the mentor mall a walkscore of 82!

Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
I'd love to see a great cheap breakfast place over there, although Coventry is not far.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I had no interest in this season at all once they rehired Mike Brown. I knew the season was going to be terrible once I heard that. Ruined the fun for me before the season even started.

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
This development had way more to do with ohio city than tremont, so I agree it should be there.

Cleveland: Downtown: Mall Development and News
One thing I would love to see is to use eminent domain to take the northwest corner of the parking lot at the corner of St Clair and West 6th. Put a nice park there and build an uptown like development on the eastern edge of the lot and north of Frankfort where the storefront would front both the park and the streets. This would create an active urban park like Rittenhouse Square. Plus eminent domain for the park might be a good first step to making those lots parking lots no more!

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
^ Awesome, I passed by this site the other day and was wondering when ground would be broken. I feel like University Circle is at the start of a major building boom.
