Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
It depends on how much they move into the new building. the old science buildings could easily fill up that space, so if they move almost all of the programs into the new building, they will easily be able to fill that lot up. I hope that if the Wolfe Music building has to go, they atleast tear down Rascal house and peabody's. That way they can do it right and build something nice. But if those buildings are staying, then the Wolfe Music Building MUST stay!

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
Cleveland State University to close portions of Rhodes Tower CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland State University officials plan to mothball portions of Rhodes Tower, the iconic symbol of the downtown campus, because it would cost too much to renovate the 40-year-old building. The structure is a 17-story tower that sits atop the four-story Michael Schwartz Library. The tower would eventually be vacated except for a few floors housing information technology and computer services, officials said. "It's an important building, but a very big building," CSU President Ronald Berkman said during a discussion of capital improvements at a recent trustee committee meeting. But the design flaws in such a large structure "come back to haunt you," he said. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2011/12/cleveland_state_university_wil_1.html

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
The visitor center make the outside of the building look nice. I still think they are wasting some very valuable space though. Lower Euclid, right next to East 4th. And they take up several storefronts.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Based on that, this is what I would guess the height would be.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
I would hope the middle lot or the top right one. Those two would fit in nicely with the office tower and hotel. Anywhere else would be too far from the action to work in my opinion. Plus the retail would feed off of each other if the buildings were close. Btw, is #10 getting built?

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
Drove through Shaker Square today to give my friend a quick tour. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to get out and walk, or ride the rapid. Looked really nice. I like the christmas lights. Anyways, just wanted to say I had a good time being there, even though it was just a quick drive through.

Cleveland: Campus District
Actually im not sure if it would. I looked at the newer built ones, and the crime issue is still there. The single family homes north of Community College Avenue look to be working very well. Very low crime around that area. But just south at Arbor Park, crime is definitely an issue.

Cleveland: Campus District
Most crime is away from East 22nd, mainly because there is nothing over there. But the public housing north of Central Avenue is a huge crime magnet. Everything from Simple Assault, Assault with knife, to Rape. Would these get rebuilt? Hopefully a new design would help reduce crime.

JRC's Nightmare on Elm Street
Me too! I think a dark blue with a red accent could look really nice as well!

Cleveland: MOCA
I really hope that is not the final skin. I was driving south on Ford going into Mayfield and Little Italy and this building is blinding. The brightest thing I have ever seen. It was hard to see. Could be dangerous. The new cancer center is nothing compared to this. Wow.

CURRENT Tremont Reviews/Thoughts please!
By the stats, crime doesn't happen more or less in Detroit Shoreway than it does in Tremont. http://www.clevelandgis.org/pub/index.html?config=crime.xml

I always thought Johnson Court could be something really special, and that the Worthington Warhouse would make nice apartments. There is so much potential for retail spaces down there. I hope this happens!
