I think there was an idea of them going in-between the curve of the the waterfront line's tracks in the East Bank of the flats. Not really lakeshore, but they were selling it as that.

The art building has a poor layout and doesn't interact with the street well(just a brick wall). The entrance is not desirable either. In my opinion this building is nothing special and not worth saving. I absolutely hate tearing down historic buildings. I find this building architecturally insignificant, and holding back progress. I love it compared to the parking lots that were there though! My feeling for this building are the same as for the Chester Building, Viking Hall, and the Science Buildings. Tear them down!

Passed the "construction site" today. Looks like a parking lot full of cars... I thought they were closing those lots

Cleveland: Police investigate two shootings CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Police are investigating a few shootings that occured Saturday night. The first one happened just after 8 p.m. on Woodhill Road. A man was shot in the leg. Cleveland Police and RTA officer say the shooting happened in a store. The victim got in an argument with a store clerk. The clerk then shot the man. The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center by EMS and the clerk was taken to jail. Yeah, that one wasnt his fault. Hes been off though. He has had a lot of high snaps, and misdirected snaps, that havent lead to missed kicks. Somethings off with him lately.

Long snapper needs to go! Phil Dawson should have tied for the record for most 50+ yard field goals in a single season today. Instead, ignorant fans will blame him for the loss. Its a shame.

Health Sciences is supposed to be one of Cleveland States areas of excellence. They currently have one of the worst buildings on campus. This is definitely needed.

Maybe they will turn the patio into a private parking lot :-P

I was thinking that as first as well, but wonder if focusing housing on West 6th would be a better investment for a developer due to the amenities the street already offers, as well as being more integrated with the warehouse district as a whole.

Seems like a lot from Lakewood. There afraid there quick drive through Cleveland will be taken away from them.

But they continue to throw money away on new highway sound walls in Mentor on route 2 for a development built years ago, AFTER the highway was built! They knew they were buying next to the highway! Pisses me off. Also, does the Lake County route 2 project switching to asphalt after originally using concrete have anything to do with the new head of ODOT's connection to the asphalt industry?

I would like to see pictures of the back of the buildings here. OK, I meant fishy and not fabricated. I don't read into that based on the fact that she opened the door. I think that people open the door for strangers commonly enough that it doesn't instantly throw up red flags. Id have to agree. Other stories in the past have seemed fishy and the truth came out eventually, but this one doesn't appear fishy to me.
