Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Gordon Square has not suffered at all because of the uptick in the Market District. Room Service is the only lose to Gordon Square, but I'd say that GS has rebounded quickly. There has been some turnover with the retail tenants, but DSDC has been quick to plug in new, unique and local tenants into those space. Bon Bon (I believe) didn't have a true retail presence in GS. It was located there, but it wasn't a walk-in location. Maybe it was only a catering operation. We, as Clevelanders, are fortunate that the brains behind the Market District and Gordon Square both embraced their strengths. We have two unique districts with different identities. Had each simply tried to become new entertainment districts, they wouldn't have as much success. Instead, we have a theater-based district and a food-based district where each seem to be snow balling. From what I'm hearing, the interest in residential real estate is beginning to follow. There's recently been a lot of absorbtion in Ohio City's residential sector and interest in renovating blighted single-family properties is beginning to soar. Thanks, good to hear. Havent been able to make it out there in awhile.

How is all this growth affecting Gordon Square? I know several of these "new" businesses are just upgrading from there space in Gordon Square.

I know, its such a better experience being there. You can actually see the play develop. Like passes, you can see the receiver running the route and whether or not he can catch it as the ball flys through the air. On tv you watch and then realize there was nobody even over there once it hits the ground.

He had injuries in Denver that ruined his chances there. And he does have a fumbling problem. I wish we still had Vickers and Jerome Harrison!(I hope he's alright).

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
I've had times where you cant even step on the bus so you just have to let it by(trust me i've been in it packed to the walls several times). And the next doesn't come for awhile. Its great to see it successful but they really need faster intervals to ease the overcrowding. It must be against some laws.

Moving to Ohio City
^ West 44th as your western boundary? You said Lorain twice. And if you live near by, you should take another visit. Maybe go check our the West Side Market and then get something to eat after. You could also walk or drive through the neighborhood.

^ hahahhaha nice. And something needs to change with our line. Gives the runner no holes to run through. Collapses almost every play which pressures McCoy. And now cant even block for a field goal?! Cant blame Dawson for that. I kicked in high school and it was annoying when the line would collapse. People like blaming the kicker even though you can do nothing about a shitty line.

Id have to agree with MayDay, awesome shot! The fact that you got the interior of the train in the shot made it that much better! Glad you didn't just zoom in.

Im sorry but Josh Cribbs is not a playmaker. He drops passes and hasn't had a kick return for a touchdown in years. And last year he was a below average returner. McCoy has to be on the ground more than any other QB in the league. Horrible blocking. Haden is looking good. Nice 52 and 53 yard field goals by Phil Dawson. Our best player

Do you have a map of rail corridors?

Northeast Ohio / Cleveland: General Transit Thread
KJP! KJP! KJP! KJP! Hahahha. And based on that map, you can see how much low density there is surrounding our current routes. And the extension doesn't seem to really hit high density areas either, besides Euclid possibly. On the east side, the densest northern area appears to Glenville, where rail is absent. On the west side, the route I suggested that would run through Detroit Shoreway, Edgewater, and Lakewood would be surrounded with high density.

Subways will never happen. Streetcars should be the future, which is ironic considering our past.

Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald forms medical mart oversight panel CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald has recruited a team of medical and civic leaders to keep tabs on the strategy of the medical mart under construction downtown. FitzGerald wants the group to help recruit tenants and make sure the $465 million public project succeeds. Despite recent statements by the project's general manager that the mart's focus has shifted toward continuing education, FitzGerald and panel members on Thursday insisted the building will remain a showplace of medical technology. Yet no one will name a single committed tenant. http://www.cleveland.com/cuyahoga-county/index.ssf/2011/10/cuyahoga_executive_compiles_medical_mart_oversight_panel.html

I think a route out to Lakewood makes more sense than to Euclid. KJP would know more about whats possible, but could this rail corridor be used? Look at "The Orange Line" (General ideas for station locations. More locations to the west of course). This could then lead to to further extension out into lakewood and bay village. http://g.co/maps/ujb6e

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
So seems like every 10 minutes. It can be a half hour. What makes it worse is that you see 4 busses going by the opposite direction before one comes your direction. 1 minute, 1 minute, 25 minutes, 1 minute, 1 minute, 25 minutes... Hahhahaha
