You can always go for the tofu or tempeh variant of the meat dish you'd like to cook. Grilled veggies are great. Use lots of spices to give a succulent flavor. You'd be surprised what you can do with spices. Garlic is your friend, too. You can sautee just about anything with some sliced garlic, and it will turn out well.

Kind of. They may have been just as fit for the job without the degree, but most jobs like the ones he described require a bachelors degree.

^ Of course you knew... The man parts and the lady parts just fit! Anything else is unnatural.

Sounds like a White Russian sans vodka (and with nonalcoholic Khalua).
  5. ^^ I don't think that's patronizing, as it implies Ohioans shouldn't have low self-esteem, which is implicitly praising Ohioans.
  6. Residents of Clifton are more mobile than residents of Walnut Hills. That said, this is awful for the city. Clifton was the only "complete" neighborhood.

^ I think you're mistaking me for someone else.
  8. And they don't care how many tax-payer dollars they waste in the process.

I'm going to send you to reparative therapy. Emmie, will you help? The sin must be purged, one way or another.

Calling artists "overrated" is not supposed to be a declaration about how enjoyable their music is to you. That's his point.

    Is it the old man?
  14. I heard they are sending "little old ladies" to do door-to-door work.

It's elitist speak for those little snacks they carry around on trays at those high-falutin' parties we common folk aren't invited to.
  16. Wahhh, I wanna see their page, but it says page not found...wonder why others can see it??
  17. ^ I think the thinking goes...if it's that ridiculous an issue, they won't be able to get the signatures. It's an abuse of democracy, IMO.

I want our society to be more meritocratic, not less. More Bill Gateses, less G.W. Bush inherit-the-throne types.

    ^ For real.

Utah's is pretty baffling. It makes me think of cult kool-aid. Is this fueling the polygamy groups? I never knew Utahans had a thing for green jello.
  24. Without a grocery store, Clifton is instantly surpassed by Northside in livability. I think you're wrong, though. I think a grocery will come back to the location (and be profitable, if run properly).
  25. What is the CODE Labor Union? (Google won't tell me.) Police and fire unions oppose it on the false premise that capital funds used for the streetcar could stave off the crisis with the operational budget which threatens police and fire jobs. The Greens, well, you'd have to get to know these fools, Jason Haap and Justin Jeffre (of the boy band 98 Degrees). From what I can tell, they take issue with the fact that streetcar power would come from coal plants. That and the official NAACP line that money would better be spent directly on social services.
