I've been wondering about Mercer as well. There really hasn't been any news on it that I am aware of other than the preservation grants last December and the loose renderings that came out in April. I also would have thought the Cincinnati Color Building would be underway by now.

The residence complex is moving extremely fast. The amount of dirt hauled out of here is quite impressive and the footings are already being poured.

On arrival in Cincinnati for my first time almost 2 years ago I saw digging out of the bluff for this project and it absolutely disgusted me. It really gave me a bad impression about the priorities of the area in general that I am now overcoming. But yikes. This project is bad.

Does anyone know what the details of the complaint are? This seems pretty clear cut, much like the apartment to condo conversions that happened when the condo market was hot-- it is a privately owned building with renters and leases do not have to be renewed. Is there some special circumstance regarding this building and subsidized rent where special rules apply? It seems to me 3CDC is going above and beyond what is required of them.

Is that the intersection of Dana and Ledgewood? It looks sorta like the new commons on the left and the new WCB on the right but I'm not totally sure.
