  1. He's also our #1 pitcher, so we schedule him against other teams' #1 pitchers as they do against ours. That's life. Actually at this point in the season with the way the schedule fluctuates, #1s (even when clearly-defined) don't always end up facing each other.
  2. What a game last night. I was certain that they were going to call it when Boston had the lead late, but thank goodness they didn't. Roll Tribe!
  3. Nice pictures!
  4. Like where/what were you thinking?
  5. No, my indictment is only upon the CHPD at the direction of those running CH that seem to have their priorities all wrong.
  6. Is the CHPD really this incompetent? This is part of the reason why I always say that CH has its priorities all wrong. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2011/05/cleveland_heights_police_faile.html
  7. This team... :)
  8. Yeah, Legacy Village never really made it past phase I. If DisneyWorld is what most lifestyle center designers are looking for, then Crocker Park certainly has LV beat. Both are dumps, however, and I'd take Detroit Road/Coventry Road over either one... I agree with sfbob, AG is dying. Maybe Brooklyn can attract a company with more long-term potential to the old AG site.

    Hahaha, nice! :)
  10. There is one business left there, but I'm betting it has become mostly empty (it was mostly full just a few years ago) because the tenants were pressured out (or left on their own accord because of the word that the plaza was being torn down). And Waterway was just as horrible of an idea (if not worse) than McDonald's. I agree, but if it were one or the other, I guess I would have preferred Waterway. I hate McDonald's and think it has no place in my community.
  11. Dollar Bank. The old shopping center/potential new McDonald's is directly across the street from PNC. We're talking about the northwest corner of the Bushnell/Warrensville Center intersection. The most brilliant thing about the plan is that traffic exiting McDonald's will only be allowed exit towards Warrensville Center Road. For those very familiar with that area and traffic patterns, you'll immediately realize that this is going to create a traffic nightmare on the two side streets (Bushnell and the other one whose name escapes me) near their intersection of Warrensville Center Road.
  12. Those buildings have been mostly empty for at least a few years now. This is a dumb idea (and I'm still not convinced that it's set in stone), I would have preferred Waterway, but oh well.
  13. Are you really gloating about this? Or was that a joke reflecting on the stupidity of the decision to move so far away from a chunk of its employee base? Either way, although I'm disappointed that they didn't choose a more central location, the truth is that American Greetings is circling the drain. They're talking about 30 year tax deals with the City of Westlake and the Westlake School District, but AG will be lucky to make it another 15 years. Kudos to the geniuses running the company (all Eastsiders, mind you) who made another brilliant business decision here!
  14. There is something special going on with this team, and although I'm not really big into believing in supernatural phenomena, I'd really like to believe that Bob Feller has something to do with it...
  15. When the lockout ends, I'd love to see the Browns make a run at signing Santonio Holmes. Would be a great fit to complement Green/Little.
  16. Yeah, but we got a sweep out of it! :) Just what I was hoping for!
  17. This is indeed great news, I'd love to see CSU become more residential in character.
  18. Of course we would get two straight rainouts after Friday night's nearly packed stadium and momentum-building win. Well, back on the road to KC where it would be nice to bury the Royals in the standings a bit.
  19. Joe Haden is awesome. The chances of playing baseball today look slim. If the outfield had that much water yesterday and we've had several straight hours of rain since then, plus more coming later, I don't know. I'd love for there to be a game today, but I'd be shocked if it actually happened.
  20. Tough series loss, but Seattle coming to town should be the cure for what ails this team. This team could use a sweep right about now!
  21. Parking around there can already be a headache on busy nights, but I do like the idea.
  22. I prefer this one but it would be awesome if we could somehow recover the posts from the 3 day experiment.
  23. So, yeah...I think 85-87 wins would be enough to take the AL Central. This team plays .500 ball from here on out and they're in the ALDS.
  24. I think we got quite a bit of help, but yeah, I'll take it!
