Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
What annoys me is how much emphasis is put on keeping recent grads here. What about not-so-recent grads? Just people in general?

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
I only tease about suburbs. ;) I grew up in them, but now live in Cleveland (Westpark). Don't forget the 3rd "Westpark" entrance behind my house (and behind Fairview Hospital) although it is closed now while they replace that bridge. ;) I could be wrong but I thought the river itself WAS the border of Cleveland/Fairview, and Rocky River/Lakewood. Can't seem to find concrete proof of that though.

Originality in Movies = dead?
He's from Ohio? Did not know that. Look he even has a perfect mustache to play the lead in "Wonka Part II". But no... let's just do a remake. At least "Alice" was more of a sequel then a flat out remake.

Originality in Movies = dead?
I wasn't going to but since I USED to be a VV fan I figured I would give it a shot. IMO that could be the worst chick flick ever made...

Does anyone know
I have had the real thing while in Mexico and the homemade stuff at a friends in Colorado. I agree that it is some nasty stuff. I couldn't stomach enough of either kind to see if it is really a hallucinogen. And in Mexico we even did it the "real way" with the sugar. The sugar helps but it's still nasty.

Originality in Movies = dead?
Yea, I USED to be a VV fan... until I saw this swill: Could it be more obvious you wanted to spend some time in Bali on someone else's dime? :wtf:

Originality in Movies = dead?
/Rant on/ Has Hollywood completely run out of ideas? Saw "Nightmare on Elm Street" this weekend. Now I knew it was a bit of a remake of the original, but... wow. It wasn't a bad flick but it was basically a complete remake. I was complaining about all these remakes as we walked out of the theater. "Clash of the Titans" was playing across the hall. I pointed that out. That one really blows my mind. There are 1,000 of stories in the Greek mythology... you can't find a new one? You have to remake one? "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Wouldn't it have been cool to see the sequel to this fine movie? Instead of a remake? Isn't the actor that played Charlie still alive? You could even get him to play himself and he has decided to retire. What a great idea, right? Took me 2 minutes to think of it. What up Hollywood? The list goes on. Y'all know what I am talking about. Friday the 13th. Footloose. Fame. As I am complaining about this we walk out of the theater and what do I see??? What do I see? To quote Charlie Brown.... "I just can't stand it....."

Yea, I have to admit I love ethnic food. Indian is my favorite. I didn't want to bias anyone about Lebanese food but in all honesty.... I kind of hated it. lol

Pet Peeves!
Clevelanders using the AC in the car when it is 65 and sunny outside. These are the same people that whine all winter long because it is so cold out. So the first thing they do when we get a nice warm day..... roll up the windows and turn on the AC. We need a "Face Palm" smiley.

Thanks for the welcome Hts121. *I* don't have a nest perched on the *13th* floor of Terminal Tower. We do. ;) I am just someone that helps monitor some of the nests around town. Just a volunteer. The second link I posted is the WebCam that broadcasts the nest (actually called an eyrie) on TT. We have 3 eggs this year that should be hatching soon!!

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
New member checking in. Re: Diversity. I only read the first 7 pages of the thread but I didn't see anyone mention that area that I call "Little Lebanon". Around West 125th and Lorain Road. It is probably more of a "Little Middle East" but the restaurant I ate at there served Lebanese food so I call it Little Lebanon. 2nd: We also have the highest concentration of Peregrine Falcons within this county then anywhere else in the Midwest. Columbus has one nest. Cincy has 2, Toledo has 2. Cleveland has 6, the county has 9.
