  1. Tyrod was never a strong passer. Baker will be interesting. The question I have is how many games to the Browns need to win for Hue to come back another year?
  2. Its natural to identify more locally where you are from when you do not go far to school because you assume people know the area because they are there. When I was in Cleveland at school, the Clevelanders would identify themselves as being from Solon, Westlake, Bay Village, Hudson, etc. I think it is natural no matter where you are from
  3. So, who on this thread got free beer out of the beer fridge last night?
  4. ^ but isn't the talk about combining Cin-day to the same MSA not CSA or was it only the CSA?
  5. So why all the talk about Combining Cincy/Dayton when there really is not the same talk about Cleve/Akron. Both those cities are closer to each other, share a TV market and have other commonalities. To me Akron was just as close to the suburbs of Cleveland as some of them were to downtown Cleveland.
  6. Where is Franklin County? Is that Batesville?
  7. Which county did Cincinnati add?

Without the US, and the fact that the World Cup was in some 3rd world country 8 time zones away, of course the ratings suck.
  9. Likely there was an agreement signed on resignation of some sort. Just because he resigned vs fired is more semantics. He still gets paid.
  10. ^ I know this is off topic, but how much longer do you think he coaches?
  11. I think 6th and Sycamore is dead right now but it could be revived.
  12. I did not even go there but still familiar with all the Coach Kyle quotes.
  13. 4th and Race, 8th and Main, and 7th and Vine all seem to be moving forward.
  14. AFC Central? You're in the wrong century. 8) It will always be the Central, none of this North nonsense!!! Bring back the glory days of Brennan, Newsome, Byner, Mack, Kosar and Webster Slaughter.
  15. AFC Central is wide open this year. Could be a surprise that sneaks in there. Pittsburgh looks old and without Bell for the first 10 weeks, they lose a major offensive weapon. If Pitt can get off to a 4-5-1 start, they will not make the playoffs. Batimore looked good against a bad Buffalo team. Does not say anything there. Best two teams in the division at the end may be Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Met him personally a few times, he was always very nice. Another one bites the dust to the cult He was one of the first one's to endorse Trump
  17. is this the old 5/3 branch footprint?
  18. I am glad that there seems to be someone willing to dethrone Hayden Moore. As long as he was the starter, UC would not do anything.
  19. That was completely ridiculous. Every time UCLA did something stupid, the announcers were like "this is the sheer genius of Chip Kelly" Could it be that the shine and luster of Chip Kelly may have worn off, or other coaches have caught up to his style after being out of the college game for 5 years now. It was a bit nauseating hearing the announcers completely sniff Kelly's jock the entire game.
  20. Chagrin and some parts of Geauga county have a lot of historic charm to them too. I can see why he was successful.
  21. WHere was he selling homes? Shaker and Cleve Heights areas? Back in the 80s I figured the preservation and older architecture was a much smaller niche that what it is today. Outside of those areas and maybe Bay Village was there a huge market for the preservationist houses?
  22. That is very true. I know when we show apartments, people sometimes question whether they can get their queen bed in the room and we are like, the people before you had a California King in this space. Your dad was ahead of his time. The home staging industry is huge now.
  23. Except UCLA sucked. just like Miami sucked 3 years ago when UC beat them at Nippert. Still a good win for the program.
  24. ^ I was out skiing a couple years ago and in the lounge of the lodge we were staying in, there was a group of Stanford MBA's that were having a reunion. They flew in that Friday afternoon for their annual class reunion from all parts of the country, mostly east or west coast. I remember striking up a conversation with a guy who was exciting about his new health care startup that was going to change the entire paradigm about healthcare billing. He was telling me about it and how individual patients would be able have control over their bills. He had spent 2 years working on this and thought it was a revolutionary idea except the one problem was that he never actually understood his customer and that for his company to work he would have to convince not only hospitals, but insurance providers and government, that the way they have been doing business for the last 70 years is completely wrong and they need to change to his revolutionary model. This is not a way I would choose to spend or waste 2 years of my life, with something that has zero chance of working. There are a lot of wide eyed MBA's from prestigious schools that really have no clue of the world, or even the business which they are trying to compete with.
  25. Why? He doesn't appear to be a MFA or Abolish ICE candidate. I know him personally, not a huge fan. He is ok. I wont say anything personally bad about the guy, just personally not a huge fan. I don't have issues with people who vote for him. He is not to the level of Chris Seelbach who is just an giant a-hole and generally a complete jerk of a human being.
