Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
That means the clinic is either tearing something down or moving jobs to Beachwood!

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
^Actually not too bad. I think the white area on the ends of the buildings need some more improvement. Seems a little bland, but other than that, the site plan is much improved

Cleveland: Cleveland State University News & Info
I saw this coming. The reason I went to CSU is because of its location within CLE. Those that followed me did so for the same reason. What made CSU the joke of northeast Ohio universities in the 60’s thru 90’s (referring to location) is what is going to make it the premiere school in the future. Quite ironic…

Another Dumb-a$$ List / Ranking of Cities
^Whoa, I know the 3C's like to poke fun at each other. In all seriousness, Columbus is a great city for many reasons...Dense, walkable, vibrant core. But skyline being the 9th best? I don't quite see that at all. as much as I love Ohio's cities, I am not quite sure any of our skylines crack top 10 TBH

Cleveland: Downtown & Vicinity Residences Discussion
Well Sam...If you did any sort of investigative journalism whatsoever, you would maybe pull the population figures from the recent census. I don't know what the exact numbers were, but anyone who tried .0004% harder than Sam would venture to look there. Someone correct me if neighborhood level is not out yet?

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
So badass they are proposing to reuse the old steam plant!

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Ken, does that pipe bomb have anything to do with fact that the rendering shows new construction on what would be considered the "liner properties" that Sherwin owns?
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I would call it a slightly more realistic pipe dream than we are used to. I say slightly more realistic because at least the major player has the $$$$ to pull it off with a little determination.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
So wait is that it then? No public access to any component of the pavilion?

Cleveland: Population Trends
I am not surprised by Cudell, Jefferson, and West Blvd. If you frequent those neighborhoods or own property here, you will know that these are...you guessed it...immigrant heavy neighborhoods. We need more immigration in Cleveland to stabilize the population. Case in point. We all though OHC, Tremont, DS etc would gain but did not

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
@misterjoshr, you guys have the incremental development game on lock. THIS is how you navigate zoning and building code barriers while still providing a great looking product. Does a rental townhome require fire suppression?

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
I am actually a little concerned about that purchase. the portion of the Catanese property along the river is nothing special and would make a great connection from Rivergate Park to Settlers Landing! I truly hope they don't intend to tear down the cool industrial properties on the East side of Merwin Ave though!

Cleveland: Population Trends
^^I am actually going through this phase of my life now as well as many of my friends. Changing the course is going to require a herd mentality. For instance, most of my friends wound up in Medina or Lorain counties after living in the city while without kids. We ultimately ended up in Lakewood, and our friends always talk about how they miss living in a walkable, sociable place. All it takes is enough people going against the pattern of moving out to the exurbs for the remainder to feel it is "acceptable" to stay in the city/inner rings.

The drivers in ________ city SUCK!
I am trying to figure out what happened here. 2 of 3 vehicles here somehow made a wrong move, btu I can't figure out which 2!

Cleveland: Population Trends
I love the mentality of our friends who moved way out from the core who used to live in the city and/or inner ring. They make comments like "you guys live all the way in Lakewood" ...Ummm no, you moved your ass way out to the middle of nowhere. It's the other way around, but they refuse to see it like that 🙄

Cleveland: Population Trends
I am still very positive about all the investment happening in the CLE, including the East side, but damn...when are we going to turn the corner? Seems like so much new housing is being built. I just find it hard to believe that we are losing more households than are being built right now.

Cleveland Mayoral Race 2021
I like Bibb for the job. I agree that he may not be a huge change driver, but if he lives up to his campaign promise of cleaning up the waste in our city departments, then he wins in my book. About 60% of city employees need to be fired immediately. Take care of the city services and let the private sector respond with more development as more people want to start living in a well run city

I am so proud of my company for this one. I’ll be the first to criticize some of our building designs, but this one checks all of necessary boxes I think

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
It is every city right now. I am BY NO MEANS of the camp of militant policing, but clearly there are a lot more criminals who feel more emboldened following the police criticism of last year.

US Bank arena is probably the best example of how it should be and can be done

Cleveland: Historic Photos
^I think this photo puts into perspective how deeply rooted those parking lots in the warehouse district are and just how important the Sherwin project is. Even as early as 1955 we can see parking lots already starting to form! I didn't realize some of them go that far back.
