  1. I so wanna make a comment in reference to requesting a specific color....but won't...cuz thats just gross.
  2. I go to a guy in the Rockefeller bldg in the Whse District. He does a great job thats why I go...honest ( its not because he keeps Playboys for perusal )
  3. That's life in the big city! Nice shots!
  4. Has anyone heard updates on the Puritas/150th red line station renovation? According to RTA's website the design is to be finalized in 2008 and construction is to begin shortly thereafter.
  5. ^perhaps...its in KY right? I believe the abv laws as they relate to beer prohibit this from being sold in OH. FYI...its $10 for a 12oz bottle.
  6. Hydrobond, why only 2 stars for Dogfish 120? Thats something I really enjoy...can't have more than one though; its 20% abv! Be sure to add some Founders to your list, especially their Breakfast Stout- delish!
  7. ^ and speaking of Catherine Wheel...did you know the bassist of that now defunct band lives in Ashtabula.
  8. Is that Burj Dubai in the background on #6? Aren't you worried about being attacked by the crazies living in these abandoned structures...you are invading their territory ya know.
  9. I like how the city is using pics of vintage bikes on their literature. I miss my '65 Vespa blue badge small frame.
  10. I was at Mallorca on Saturday night, that restaurant never disappoints. It's Portuegese cuisine- the shellfish dishes are amazing, the wait staff is mostly Portuegese, Brazilian, and Spanish. The best part is the complimentary almond liqueur they serve at the end.
  11. I'm guessing its an industrial Chinese city- Chongqing perhaps?
  12. nice... the area just outside of UD has come a long way since I graduated 11 years ago....gawd I feel old now.

I can't wait to see Choke...haven't read the book though. If its anything as demented and twisted as Haunted then I'll be happy. On the theme of dark movies, has anyone seen Funny Games- I recommend that.
  14. Nice shots! I can see my old building from the second pic, its the orange-brownish one.
  15. now I'm hearing rumblings about her being in critical condition....not sure who or what to believe right now.
  16. mmmm Southern Tier! The city looks nice too.
  17. I've always said the lottery is a tax on people that don't know math.

^ no- that would be Eastlake
  19. Crappy pictures of a crappy city....thanks for nothing peter griffin! If this city ever wants to turnaround it will require a major development project- perhaps building the worlds largest glitziest ferris wheel ....;)
  20. Cincinnati's downtown is booming by midwest standards??? Really. What are these standards of which you speak. Also, I wouldn't categorize the developments going on in Cleveland (and there are many to speak of) as glitzy development projects.
  21. ^ You're folks must live in Ferndale...I have a friend that lives there, he's been spotting Michael Cera and Fred Willard....I have no idea who they are.
  22. Little Italy- Valentino's. Mama Santa's is decent and inexpensive, but IMHO Valentino's is the best pie in Little Italy. Tremont- Big Guys. They plop down a half bulb of garlic in the middle. West Park- Dante's. The pizzeria is almost hidden away; seems to only be known to the neighborhood folks. The sauce has a nice tang and the crust has that old pizza oven taste. Lakewood- Angelo's. Deep dish can't be beat. Cleveland is definitely a pizza city.
  23. I liked the AST tour shot of the Rapid chugging across the bridge over the Cuyahoga.
