  1. And "...Novare Group was committed to contributing $166,000 per year for streetcar operations, he said..."
  2. It may be of interest that I first saw 4EG info late last night on twitter. Then expecting it to be headline news this morning and only the Business Courier has a story. http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/03/29/cincinnati-streetcar-lands-1st-sponsorship.html
  3. The streetcar has it's first sponsor, 4EG

  6. Here's the full video. I thought you could start the video at a specific point. It doesn't seem to work. 25.25 - Cincy #1 in Ohio (by a wide margin) for graduating CEOs 26.39 - Bring the Streetcar uptown
  7. Another Senhauser building (or two) is always a good thing. I pulled some images from the 80mb PDF in case not everyone wants to download. The PDF also had lots of detail on the Union Terminal rehab. The lobby area is being completely gutted .... j/k. Not a single change is being made. It's all exterior work.
  8. Ha, it's like the dance of death. Google maps shows it in all it's glory. I think it was NASCAR inspired.
  9. Makes sense esp. for the lunch rush. The one in Florence is set up in a way that requires cars to drive around the building TWICE.
  10. And then X proceeds to put the egg back in Xggavier
  11. WCPO.com has a story and photos of the Parksite condos for sale. http://www.wcpo.com/home/home-tour/home-tour-parksite-condos-in-over-the-rhine-give-new-life-to-old-style-in-heart-of-the-city http://otrliving.com/properties/parksite
  12. I can't take it any longer. jmecklenborg withholding his annual criticism of the latest Bunbury lineup. What's the hold up!??! We talking Mudcrutch, MUDCRUTCH!!
  13. Bill Murray approves. March Madness will be wide open this year. As a UC (can't shoot) fan, I got to give X credit for playing well for so long. I like their chances.

Now in video form. For those meatheads who can't read. Not that there's any on this forum. ;-)
  15. And the new Charlie Kaufman film, Anomalies, takes place in Cincinnati. Critical acclaim and Cincy seems to go hand-in-hand lately.
  16. Will it fix problems like text not breaking at all? It doesn't happen all the time. It can make for an interesting read on a 27"
  17. The Steelers are a bunch of delicate flowers. Here's a tackle where they gently put AJ to the ground. No flag and AJ out for the playoffs last year. Looking forward to a Bronco trampling this Sun.
  18. Any team would want Burfict on their team. People seem to forgot the endless cheap shots the Steelers dish out. Just heard Pittsburgh gave Porter a game ball. And Antonio Brown was prancing around the locker room around after the game. It will be fun watching Big Ben having to throw the ball underhanded against Denver.

I was going to resist commenting but the force is strong with this movie. Overall I loved it. The paced was in hyperdrive and engaging throughout. It was too familiar to the previous films. Rey and Finn are great and characters I want to know about more. There was no way not to pay homage to the earlier movies and there were lots a little touches to appreciate. Hopefully, future films with develop their own identity. Stormtroopers having personalities was pretty funny. And this will go down in Star Wars lore... Still don't know what protection their uniform provide.
  20. What project is this? Pic was taken from Gilbert. It's on the corner of 7th and Broadway.
  21. SI and Wired had an article about football stadiums of the future and one idea that I thought was perfect for the Banks is integrating an office tower (and parking garages) into the stadium. "...This goes beyond what we now think of as multiuse. Imagine a downtown office tower that on most days holds, say, a law firm. On one side that office faces a busy downtown street. But on the opposite side is a football field. Now you have office spaces that can be turned into suites on NFL Sundays. How will fans access this inner-city, multipurpose Colosseum? Populous envisions large mass-transit centers connected directly to stadiums, with train rides replacing the old soccer-style marches that fans make into arenas. And like the office tower that looms large over one end zone, perhaps another section of the stadium has a massive parking garage attached to it—only instead of walling off the garage from the action, as we see today, that garage serves the city’s commuters during the week and becomes a massive tailgating venue on weekends, with fanatics driving right up to their vantage point..." http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/11/18/super-bowl-100-stadium
  22. Visited Brooklyn NY over the Thanksgiving holiday. UC Bearcats played in a tournament (which they won) at the Barclays Center. We spent most of our time walking around 3rd, 4th, and 5th Ave. Obviously a small part of Brooklyn, but interesting. Can't say the architecture was impressive but the environment and people (non-hipsters, j/k) made it interesting. From the Hotel's roof top terrace UC vs Nebraska. Whenever I think of Big Ten, I think snooze-fest, but the Bearcats made it fun. Sparse crowd of team's fans and basketball junkies. Back to walking the streets. Church(?) looks like it has a nice stone facade, but the rest must be coming down. Not a single bike checked out. Shame on the hipsters. This little gem is right across the street from our hotel. UC vs George Washington. Tougher game. UC was far more athletic but GW hit 11 threes NY media goes crazy 9/11 Memorial Museum was intense. Wasn't sure about taking photos so I just took these two. Heck with giving school's names. We'll just give them numbers. Public School #133 Damn double parkers. Sent this to NYPD

Are sweatpants part of that trend? I was in Brooklyn over the holiday. Lots of sweatpants - bagging from waist to thigh, skin tight below. Who knew my 80 yr old dad was hip.
  24. The Enquirer followed it this morning. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2015/11/08/live-streetcars-first-trip-around-cincinnati/75410800/ If you don't want go there. @PBrennanENQ and @MegVogelphoto have pics on their twitter feed.
  25. From what I heard if both issue 2 and 3 pass, the issue with the most votes trumps the other. It won't need to got to Court or the Statehouse. If issue 2 gets more votes than issue 3 that would prevent issue 3 from going in affect. Issue 2 would become law immediately.
