Great information @KJP I for one am eager to hear about the potential "spin off development" you have mentioned before... ?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
IT includes the Jacobs lot. I asked Michelle on Twitter and she confirmed. No clue why Stan tweeted that.- Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Athletic Club Redevelopment
Are we really not there yet as far as population numbers to support any additional retail? I hope that changes soon. All of these new developments have prime storefronts and nothing in them. Look at Schofield... still empty except for seasonal pop up bars.- Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Athletic Club Redevelopment
This has got to be temporary if they still have the for lease signs up... right?!- Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
The excitement and joy we should have over the death of the Parking Sea can not possibly be overstated. I think the possibility of keeping everything downtown and developing TWO key sites got everyone on this board incredibly ...and maybe a little overly-excited. ...to me this is good news that could’ve been great news. But good news nonetheless. Well see what additional information comes with the announcement.- Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
I’ve said it before but it’s amazing what a difference even a three story building makes in this location. Hopefully it spurs more density (and a little more height where appropriate) along with a diet on Superior with the bikeway.- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Let’s keep this discussion in the separate R&D thread.- Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
Ummmmm @KJP can you address the above? I trust your reporting more than theirs.- Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Is this really true? Didn't they just reopen with the original owner of Brasa buying it back?- Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
WOW. This is amazing. I love the outside canopy as well. Seems like they are sparing no expense here... if the renderings come to be accurate.- Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Athletic Club Redevelopment
@roman totale XVII I was just going to post the same thing... not exactly the "high-end auto showroom" we discussed upthread lol- Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
This is pretty exciting... originally so many of us were torn between Weston/Jacobs or Bedrock site and which would be more transformational. If this goes through we hopefully get something that is a little bit of the best of both worlds!- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
Is this still happening? Nice renderings- Cleveland: Retail News
I’ve often wondered if things continue at this rate at Beachwood if Nordstrom or Saks would ever jump ship and move to the west side (like Crocker Park area) ...? Maybe not a valid concern but always been a thought in my mind.- Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
"Concerns were raised about the building being too close to the City Club building next door; the planned four-foot balconies being too small to be usable; and the building being too short and wide." I dont usually agree with pretty much anything they say- but wasn't expecting them to ask for more height? ? I guess I wouldn't be opposed to that.- Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
I know we’re veering off topic... just wanted to put this here: https://www.cleveland.com/cuyahoga-county/2018/10/plans-to-spruce-up-soldiers-and-sailors-monument-underway-ahead-of-125th-anniversary.html it was discussed but apparently never happened. ? Hopefully between May Co. and Sherwin-Williams there is increased activity and attention on the square which might lead to some improvements.- Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
With everything going on development-wise in Cleveland I had almost forgotten about this! Thanks for keeping us up to date. I do hope this can progress- as NuCleUs, even in its revised state, will be a significant change to an otherwise woefully inactive deadzone. The only thing I wish is that they would modify the design of that parking garage ?- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I hope an official announcement really is coming soon because this back and forth is getting ridiculous! ?- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Not quite as tall as I was envisioning but does an amazing job of filling the gap with something different, energetic and funky! Cant wait to see this get going. And I hope they do keep the reference to the Hippodrome, I love that!!- Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway District: Development and News
I think this is good to see. This area could be a great link between Playhouse Square and Gateway if development in PHS ever goes south. It could help Carnegie as well. Lots of potential.- Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Thats my vote ^ ... that would be amazing to see. Especially since my apartment looks right at this hole ? I will give up part of my lake view for something to be built there. - Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
