Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Awesome... a 23 story building on this site is going to look amazing. I wonder what height that might be for a residential building? For comparison, One University Circle is 20 floors and 235 feet tall. The Ernst and Young Tower (keeping in mind office buildings have different floor heights) is 21 floors and 330 feet tall. The City Club Building next door is 14 stories, and the 668 Apartments I think are only 8 stories. So this could really stand out. Just imagine!!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Really pleased if this is the outcome. A 30 story tower PLUS additional infill on those lots PLUS activation of essentially empty land on the river PLUS the necessary connections between them and the additional development that could create is a win win win. Density over height for me. I’m perfectly happy with Key, TT and 200PS being our big three. They nicely balance the top of the skyline. This will do wonders to start filling in the gaps. Couldn’t be happier!

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Thanks for posting my tweet @KJP ? I never had seen these until today and thought they were a great compromise between safety and aesthetics. Hopefully something can be done on Public Square soon but it doesn’t seem to be a priority ...

I didn’t remember it but looks to be pictured in this rendering. Though it looks like they are building it all the way to 925 in your picture.

Look at all those streetlights.... they are all ON! And I dont see broken Christmas lights wrapped around the poles held on with electrical tape? The Healthline lighting leaves a ton to be desired... both in its design and its maintenance. Sad.

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
“‘Cuyahoga County Justice Center committee presented with nine design options downtown and elsewhere’ CLEVELAND, Ohio – Consultants on Thursday unveiled nine design options for a new or renovated Cuyahoga County Justice Center that range from keeping the courthouses, prosecutor’s office and jail in their existing location or moving all or some of them. The committee appointed to decide whether to renovate or replace the aging and decrepit Justice Center will have working groups select their top options to consider at a meeting in December. A final design is not expected until March.“ https://www.cleveland.com/news/2019/11/cuyahoga-county-justice-center-committee-presented-with-nine-design-options-downtown-and-elsewhere.html

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
The work you’ve put into this is incredible @KJP Thanks for sharing it with all of us here. As I said before- this has been the most exciting and fun project to track on this board in all of my 12 years on UO. The public announcement will be something to see after all these months of speculation!

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
This is an impressively thorough restoration. Cant imagine the work that goes into something like this. EDIT: Which reminds me... what's the deal with the Park Building next door? They've had those brackets on the corners forever... I assume the building also needs a restoration?

- Cleveland: Downtown: 55 Public Square Restoration
I’ve occasionally heard this building compared to the Lever House in NYC which was beautifully restored many years ago. Some lighter glass would brighten up 55 Public Square. I think it’s a great building, I just wish they would do something about that awful parking garage/surface lot combo Behind it.- Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Athletic Club Redevelopment
- Cleveland: Retail News
According to the address listed here, Mr. Hero and Downtown Convenience (Currently at the base of the May Co. garage) are moving down into the empty spot in the Southworth Buidling, which I believe is next to a Subway interestingly. Unless that is an error ?♂️ Is Edible Arrangements still open? I assume Bedrock is clearing out the Garage for the renovation. Final Design Development Approval: Project: DF2019-072: Mr. Hero | Downtown Convenience Signage The proposed installation of new exterior signage Project Address: 2013 Ontario Street Project Representative: George Dragon, Cicogna Sign Co- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Is it possible that they could make an announcement now simply that they are staying in Cleveland, possibly identifying the site, and then will release designs etc. in the future?- Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
^ I think you mean the Hilton Garden- Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Now Bloom, plus the PizzaFire and JGumbo spots all remain empty in that area on Euclid... hope they dont remain empty for a long time- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
The Renaissance needs a major overhaul (which I think they are in the early stages of) but if 6,000 employees are working across the street I would think their occupancy would increase. If they renovate now they may well be able to justify expansion after 2023- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Great news. Can’t wait to hear more and for us to get an official announcement. But also I am VERY intrigued by THIS: “Expect those properties to change hands and for developments to be announced for them in the coming days, weeks and months.” days ???- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
40 story buildings can be over 600’ tall. This is going to be very interesting. - Cleveland: Downtown: 55 Public Square Restoration
