Cleveland: Downtown: Millennia's Garfield Bldg & HQ Developments
Looking great! Not quite "Schofield-scale" :) but a really fantastic looking reproduction of the original facade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
I took a ton of pictures on the opening day so if i get some time I will post. The hotel is huge and I was very impressed. All of the staff seemed super excited to be there and very helpful. The sky bar or as it is now called "Bar32" is going to VERY popular and the space is stunning. Cant wait to see the hotel full and busy!

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I feel the same. Despite some amazing shots, OVERALL I feel they are very beatable. A lot of the games (even ones they end up winning) have been close and at times GSW looks very disjointed. When they get hot of course they can get HOT but this doesn't seem to be the 'unbeatable' team that it was during the reg season. Of course the media hypes their every win as if it was a miracle performed by the god-like Curry and Thompson. UGH...

Cleveland: Jack Cleveland Casino
Definitely eye catching. I get both sides of the argument about this sign. But it is what it is and it's not going anywhere right now. The fact is no permanent damage has come to the Higbee building and that's what counts. It's being well maintained and being used! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That plywood in the window bothers me more than the sign. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
There must be a master plan from Gilbert involving the casino, Tower City, and the Ritz. The Ritz is definitely going to undergo a renovation but I believe all of it will be announced at the same time. Too bad Hard Rock Cafe is leaving as it is a draw but if the overall plan is a win then no major loss. As KJP said, it needs to be replaced with another "draw" to TC. I am getting impatient though... I want to know what Gilbert plans to do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
One annoying thing about movies being filmed downtown is that you never know if something is being done for redevelopment or for the movie! Noticed lots of scaffolding up on the old Huntington building Annex. Is that for the movie? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fast & Furious (And More) in Cleveland
I had a very eventful lunch today, I stepped out of my building and met MayDay, then almost immediately after was interviewed by Fox8, AND got to see a scene filmed for Fast 8! Quite an hour :-D Here are some assorted pictures from this beautiful day throughout downtown. Anyone know what this ship is here for? Public Square nearing completion Hilton also nearing completion Activity at the Port (and the new cranes) Fast 8 filming: I decided to get around the closure by heading to Euclid. The closure of Superior really made Euclid feel quite busy this afternoon. Notice all the new trees down Euclid Ave., matching those just planted on E. 9th. Unfortunately some of them already had a couple branches broken off :( but hopefully the Gator bags help them survive and they are maintained. Public Square: Someone already taking occupancy: Encountered more filming at East 6th (now "East 23rd Street")

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
Noticed today that the Cadillac Ranch patio (except fire pit) has finally been removed. It really shows how WIDE Euclid Ave. gets in that space. I'm shocked that space has sat empty for so long as well as the Bank Nightclub space (that IS closed right? I would hope so). Are those spaces not being leased because they're waiting for the May Co. Project to go forward? Or is that not dependent on the project starting. Just seems like such a prime spot to sit for so long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
the building on E 9 St pier is a two-story restaurant? I thought it was supposed to be 5-story mixed use condos, office, and retail. The two story restaurant (Nuevo) is what is currently being built. They will next build the larger multi-story building with apartments further south near the rock hall where the skate park used to be.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I remember that article, but I don't think this is part of that. These storefronts are just temporary. Seems like maybe they just want to get rid of the plywood for the RNC. The real overhaul as described in that article doesn't seem to be in the works anytime soon.
