  1. Lots going on in the past couple days at the MM/CC! Most exciting, all the barriers are gone on lakeside and you can SEE the new mall C. The Lakeside entrance is being further completed as well. Here are some pictures.
  2. This got me excited! From GCRTA Facebook: "The web of steel at Settler's Landing Station on the Waterfront Line provides an interesting backdrop for this worker, who is preparing the station for re-painting. RTA is starting to spruce up the Waterfront Line in preparation for next spring, when seven-day service will return to serve the Flats East Bank development." I didnt know they were doing that but I was thinking about it just the other day... time to fix the paint, missing lights etc.! And another acknowledgement from RTA that the WFL will be back in service
  3. Will they call back extras from the avengers??? Haha I hope!
  4. Fun with Al Roker @ the West Side Market, even got a picture!
  5. for the first time ever today I saw police on a green line car, and the red line, as well as in the Ohio city station, and what seemed like way more presence at TC
  6. Here you can see what I was referring to before.
  7. So if you look at some of my pictures, and even more so today, it appears that in between every panel there will be a dark strip of border. I never noticed this before and just wonder how this will change the look of the building. You can see it in the fourth picture and today they were putting these strips up on the front. I will post pics later
  8. While wandering on my lunch playing with my new camera I found a lot of progress at the CC/MM...! Here are some shots
  9. Thank you for all those pictures! I wish I could see the progress of this project from my building but unfortunately there is a Justice Center in the way. Yuck! ;)
  10. Some new progress! Now I know what all those brackets were for.
  11. This is great news for me as I have family in Denver but sounds like good news for CLE as well: http://media.flyfrontier.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=5391
  12. I agree with you. I'm not writing it off at all, just sharing my experience. I have been to newly opened restaurants that while not perfect, have me a much better impression. But totally get what your saying. Like I said, I'll give it time and then go back
  13. Went to Black Dog for lunch today. I'm not too sure yet... Was really hoping this would work but in the current state I don't have high hopes. The space is enormous and they were very understaffed. The staff we did encounter seemed very inexperienced and distant. The woman that seemed to be in charge did not appear to be very helpful. Our waitress was nice but obviously inexperienced and extremely stressed. There seemed to be problems all over between mixups, slow service, unhappy customers, etc. They were already out of fries and our waitress didn't seem to know anything about the menu. Now; all of this being said, today is their grand opening so some of this is understandable. I just hope they can get it together really soon because I just don't see this being able to keep up with all the competition nearby. I will go back again, maybe in a few months and I wish them well. I hope others experiences are better!
  14. The glass for the main wall is going up! A little hard to see but you can see it in the middle area.
  15. For this to work you have to publicize the Return of the waterfront line service. REALLY publicize, as much as you can!! ;) as we know so many people don't even know we have rapid transit and beyond that, many people I know that use the rapid to get to work have no idea the waterfront line existed/will soon return. All those working at the end of the E. 9th corridor can really benefit from this, on top of the new FEB workers as well as med mart/CC users, especially if a direct connection can be made.
  16. Unless you're already on the Rapid. Thank you. :)
  17. :-D  :-D  I am so happy to hear someone from within RTA say this. One question J, It would be so much easier for me taking the Waterfront Line to work since I am at the end of E 9th. I get on at Green Rd. Will the Green Rd. trains continue thru TC and onto the WFL? It seems like when its running for special events that only the Blue Line does this.
  18. Arrgggh you beat me to it. Lol I was thinking the trolly too. Or the construction of the West Side Transit Center + 50 story tower. Just kidding
  19. Is the public square lot being built on worth 26 empty floors in key tower? I want that to happen just as much as everyone else but just a thought after reading the article
  20. Oh boy the Marriott is being turned into a Westin?? Lol somebody needs to get their facts straight. How does this stuff make it to the news???
  21. Great shot, my old home! :)
  22. Great shots, clueless! Here are mine. Sorry I went crazy!
  23. It is empty but it works well. Idk what the plans call for but like I said, even now it is absolutely amazing. The plant beds are undulated and there are wavy black dividers in them. My first thought KJP was holy crap this is bigger than an airplane hanger!!! Lol
  24. No. When you walk into the front entrance you immediately see all the way into the atrium. I have better pictures on the way. It shows the layout.
