  1. They will; the ones along Public Hall are just the frames. The reflective surface is attached to that. Actually I don't even think the ones in the first picture are complete, Id imagine something will be done on top to hide the frame inside.
  2. They are actually a lot more reflective in person. For some reason in my pictures they seem to take on a more black-hue
  3. As of Monday I finally became an employee of Britton Gallagher, and hope to be a great UO reporter from the 30th floor of One Cleveland Center...! We have some great views, thought Id share just a few pictures.
  4. Some pictures from the office and on the street while I was out on lunch. It was neat to see them putting up the replicated doorways along St. Clair. I also noticed out the window yesterday that some of the "ventilation stacks", those metal framed art-looking pieces flanking the mall, appear to have been completed and fully clad in the reflective material. Ill try to find them again later, I couldn't get a pic. **EDIT** I guess you can see them in the second picture near the bottom left next to the stairwell (I think thats what those are?)
  5. Work continues on Lizardville; the past view days they've been drilling out the front planters, etc.
  6. Thanks for the info. I know this was something we thought might happen a while ago, but I guess well have to wait for an announcement. It would certainly make sense for him to purchase it, and hopefully, if this is true, he will see that it is run better than FC has thus far done
  7. My idea of stores that would be in a "Beachwood Place type mall" does not include Cycle Leather... Lol I hope the rumored 13 new stores are revealed soon...
  8. Last year or early this year (can't remember) RTA said they were planning to put monitors up in the airport announcing incoming trains, etc. as well as more signage directing people to the trains. They did remodel the train level and replace the floor and that ridiculous ceiling that was constantly leaking with tubes coming down into trash cans. ;) so at least it's more inviting. But I guess the signage hasn't been implemented. I'll be there next Friday, I'll have to scope out what we have.
  9. Oh boy... Anyone have more detail??? Between this and Schofield we are having a lot of hotel financing issues...
  10. Saw on twitter and Facebook that the Downtown Cleveland Alliance is looking for volunteers to do a pedestrian count to attract new retail. I thought that was interesting
  11. Star had its issues but I have to say I'm sad to see it go. There was something so great about heading to Star after a show with the pianist playing show-tunes; something I feel whatever replaces it will lose.
  12. Sounds like TC Is definitely cleaning house. I wish we just knew what was to come!!!
  13. Looks amazing... I can't wait for this to open. I sometimes forget what a massive project this is.
  14. He's going to be mine starting next month... Can't wait! Haha
  15. That can't be permanent ... I hope. What is going on here! It's still closed- right?
  16. Everytime I'm at the airport, which seems to be once every few months, I notice improvements and renovations. Good to see and hear there are more on the way.
  17. I was digging for info on the C-Ranch situation and found this in a purchase agreement for Granite City buying the Pittsburgh Cadillac Ranch "(b) In addition to Seller’s and REG’s obligations set forth in Section 2.7(a) of the Master Agreement, at the Closing under this Agreement, Seller and REG, as applicable, will be further obligated to execute and deliver the following: (i) an agreement between Seller and REG terminating the Management Agreement between Seller and REG dated June 9, 2010; (ii) a bill of sale substantially in the form of Exhibit 2.5(d) for all of the Assets that are tangible personal property and used in the operation of the Pittsburgh Restaurant; (iii) the financial statements required to be delivered pursuant to section 3.2 of this Agreement; (iv) evidence that REG and Seller have caused the following parties to cease and desist from using the Marks, Copyrights, Trade Secrets and Net Names: CR Sparks Ranch West, LLC; CR Las Vegas, LLC; Nashville Midnight Oil, LLC; Cincinnati F.S., LLC; and CR Cleveland, LLC, together with an assignment to Buyer from such parties of all of their right, title and interest, including goodwill, in and to the Marks, Copyrights, Trade Secrets and Net Names in the form reasonably acceptable in form and substance to Buyer within sixty (60) days after Closing; (v) separate noncompetition agreements substantially in the form of Exhibit 2.5(g) executed by Seller, Owner, REG, Jon H. Field and Joel A. Field; (vi) evidence of the Consents relating to the operation of the Pittsburgh Restaurant identified in Exhibit 7.3 of the Master Agreement, or the delivery of such Consents has been waived in whole or in part by Buyer; Read more: http://www.faqs.org/sec-filings/120113/GRANITE-CITY-FOOD-and-BREWERY-LTD_8-K/a12-2740_1ex10d1.htm#b#ixzz1z8eW9KOR" Unfortunately purchase agreements aren't my expertise. :-P What does that mean? Sorry if it means nothing, just thought Id put it up
  18. Hillbilly debate aside can anyone confirm or deny that this place is staying open, changing names, or closing??
  19. Well, this should be categorized more as conjecture than as fact, as it's a "I heard it from someone who heard it from someone", but the someone I heard it from does know the players involved Berger & Silver recently announced they were closing and leaving their space in Eton Collection, and my 'source', as it were, indicated that Stark's intent was to bring Tiffany into that space, but as of today, that is no longer the case as Tiffany has stated they're no longer interested in the space. For those who have never seen it, Berger & Silver's space definitely fall into that 'boutique' sized store category, rather than the full sized Tiffany. So there, throw that chum into the rumor infested waters and have at it. Very interesting..... I found this upthread ^^^ supposedly Tiffanys was not interested in that space. As much as I hope and wish that they would go downtown I know that seems incredibly unlikely considering our current downtown retail situation. I suppose its good our market seems to be soon to get a Tiffanys but also this space would indicate it is the 'condensed' version, and not a full sized store. I guess well have to wait and see!
  20. Some good news for Erieview Tower "Tower at Erieview in downtown Cleveland avoids foreclosure; owner, mezzanine lender buy note CLEVELAND, Ohio -- One of downtown Cleveland's best-known buildings won't be lost to foreclosure, thanks to a deal struck by a determined property owner and a Philadelphia lender. Court records show that C-III Asset Management, a special servicer tasked with handling bad loans, filed a motion Monday to dismiss a foreclosure lawsuit on the Tower at Erieview." http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2012/06/tower_at_erieview_in_downtown.html Some work to be done including renovating the lobby and replacing the elevators
  21. Well that was nice while it lasted. Lol
  22. Im glad to hear some news. More apartments is always good but I just hope this goes through without any more snags. Its such an important project and location.
  23. I can't help but feel this is good news. Time to turn May Company building back into a department store!!! :-P In all seriousness, I think its a prime spot and something a lot better than CR can be a success here.
  24. All gone! This store is really big btw. It goes back into like two or three different sections. They used it as our on-set holding area when I was in the Avengers.
