  3. Wow!! If I ever wished something looked better in that area I'm sorry because that shows how far we've come... Thanks for sharing
  4. I was looking up some information and was directed to the website www.towercitycleveland.com. Is this the new site? There's some interesting stuff like the lighting schedule for TT and a falcon cam. ;) but if you google Tower City you are led to www.towercitycenter.com
  5. What exactly was in the upper floors of the buildings most recently? It seems they've been vacant for quite a while.
  6. They're opening soon. Look at their Facebook page. Somebody got really hurt!
  7. Here is the Plain Dealers coverage: http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2012/06/avenue_district_condo_tower_ne.html
  8. "Avenue Tower condos could become rentals Sale of remaining units in prominent stalled project would satisfy lenders By STAN BULLARD 4:30 am, June 18, 2012 The latest chapter in litigation over the long-stalled Avenue Tower condominium project in downtown Cleveland calls for its sale to a joint venture that would operate the condos as rental properties." http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20120618/SUB1/306189987
  9. Thanks! I was hoping for a picture ;) Those are much better.
  10. Is the pedestrian bridge traversing the North Coast Harbor which was supposed to start construction in late summer this year still on track? Wondering if anyone had some inside information
  11. Not to be completely dense but you're talking about the bollards right? Good to hear things are still being upgraded. Can't wait to see them.
  12. Does anyone know if the Wolstein Center's roof-replacement/Solar Panel project has started or is going to happen?
  13. DEFINATELY not!! But when the coast was clear I couldn't help myself. ;)
  14. That would be correct! Very impressive views from that building, really shows how huge the lake is...
  15. Just a couple pictures from yesterday... Had an interview at a certain high rise downtown... Pray for me to get the job! I want to see this everyday.
  16. Are there other squares where main streets dead end into? Union Square in San Francisco for example is more of a city block. It just fits in with the rest of the street grid.
  17. Scaffolding starting to go up on the soon to be Westin!
  18. One point I forgot is that there were a lot of people there for Marine Week but even with that the increase is obvious
  19. I showed someone around the casino today and was able to enter through the lower level of TC with no problem. There is a sign that says diamond members, VIP, etc. enter here but I asked if we could enter through there and they said sure. There was a nice volume of people for a Monday afternoon, and I saw no dress code violations :-P, just a nice mix of all people. Especially those senior citizens! Boy do they love casinos.
  20. The panels are coming around to the front now: also, cool view of the ballroom from the Waterfront line!
  21. I was so glad to see the continued upswing in people around and inside Tower City today, including using the rapids. People everywhere! It was such a nice feeling, it felt like a real city! :-P They are continuing to work on the pavers in front but one thing I don't understand.... those bollards are brand new aren't they? Then WHY does it look like the black paint is already peeling off to show yellow underneath, and not only that but several are wrapped in what looks like black duct tape to hide the patches. Seriously???? People! Even in the middle of the afternoon!
  22. Lots of bustle around town today, including Ohio City. So nice to see! Assorted pictures today, was my first time seeing the new park. Came out nice, good to see people taking advantage of it!
  23. Some pictures taken from the Waterfront line today! It was a unique perspective, and as far as I have gathered, the Waterfront line will be brought back into full operation once Flats East Bank opens, right??
  24.   Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
