Partially correct. If you are under 21 you wont be able to get to either the food court or the buffet. Are you sure?? If you enter the buffet through Tower City you can be under 21. I'm pretty sure that was in the paper. You just can't enter through the casino.

Cleveland: "The Avengers" Picture Thread *SPOILER ALERT*
I got to film there and I love how much they actually highlighted the staircase, mural, etc. in the movie. They really showed off the architecture. Very cool. I was one of the SWAT team guys in the opening scene. I need to watch it again to pin point my shots...sadly I didn't get a full frontal. You may have! The first time I saw it I barely found myself once and it wasn't until the second time I realized how much I was in it. The movie cuts so quick you don't realize your looking at yourself

Cleveland: "The Avengers" Picture Thread *SPOILER ALERT*
I've found myself scattered about six times throughout the Germany sequence! I love how much they focus on Terminal Tower and the surrounding area in the scene. There is one shot even from below pointing upwards, focusing on the top of the tower. I found this picture if you haven't seen it, and one of me... :-P

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I asked about this a while back. It's no longer a restaurant and for a while the Ritz Carlton used it to setup their brunch. Right now it's only used for special events I believe. Hopefully all this activity will bring about it's opening again! Such a neat space, I think it's time for something new in that spot!

This is also related to Tower City but I think the main focus is the Casino: "Downtown businesses hoping for an economic jolt from new casino opening" Read more: http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/news/local_news/cleveland_metro/downtown-businesses-hoping-for-an-economic-jolt-from-new-casino-opening#ixzz1ugtpaJYt" http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/news/local_news/cleveland_metro/downtown-businesses-hoping-for-an-economic-jolt-from-new-casino-opening Once again they mention more stores coming to TC

Are those spotlights on "Tower City Center" new? Or did I just not notice. Anyways the front of TC is looking better and better but I feel we need some lighting pointing up onto the tower itself.

Cleveland: Downtown: Drury Plaza Hotel Development
Tonight on the news they discussed that the school district CEO urged school board members to agree to have the board move out of the building. Apparently, they are getting offers every WEEK from Hotel chains interested in buying the property. One in particular has looked and decided it could renovate to hold 200 rooms. These developers of course want to get in and renovate as close to the opening date of the MM/CC as possible.

Question: Since Brooks Brothers is right on the way into the Casino I expect their business to pick up quite a bit. Since its such a beautiful Flagship (is it?) location, and one of the last of the nicer stores of TC, shouldn't it be highlighted more? I feel like Tower City is buried inside the building and if you weren't familiar with the City, you wouldn't even know what in there. Since Brooks Brothers is right near the front doors, why can't they have outdoor signage? Im not sure if its possible but I just had that thought. It would bring a more street-level feel to the store, even though its inside.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Some new pictures from yesterday. A while ago I commented on the fact that only the Lakeside and Mall facing doors on Public Hall had been replaced. I was so happy to see that the other two sides of the building have now been upgraded: Really makes a difference. I was also surprised to see these taking shape on the Northern end of the CC: After looking at the rendering I realized that these are the mirror-covered sculptures lining the Public Hall side of the mall. I thought they were just an idea, didn't think they were actually going in??? I think they are an interesting art piece though, I like them in the rendering. Thats all for now, when you really are up close to this project you realize what a HUGE impact this will have on the area when its done. Can't wait!

I hope they do more because I was walking through PS yesterday and there are tons of busted pavers and trash in the fountains, etc. On the bright side, the welcome center is actually pretty nice and the gift shop has some nice things although I expected it to be a little bigger. Still I think its a nice addition and its open until 1:30AM on Friday and Saturday! The more 24 hour or late openings the better!

Nope, there are 5 I think. I did! About four times. Twice in the courthouse and twice in the square.

I was an extra in the Stuttgart scenes in the Courthouse and in Public Square. That scene in the movie turned out great. They didn't really modify TT, just added banners, plants, lights, etc. Love the shot of Loki walking out of TT with the camera beneath him focusing up on the tower.

The only questionable element is if RTA is still building the transit center on this block of parking lot, is the casinos lease just temporary?
