Anyone know about the feasibility of this idea? Weight restrictions, etc.? Cuz if it's feasibly, it sounds awesome...

Parking garage needs to happen first- Not sure the City will beginning on that project in 2012.

Cincinnati: Corryville: Hampton Inn & Suites
Corryville has SO many projects going on right now- And almost ALL of them are CRAP quality. - same exact design as 65 West, different color scheme.

^ white people hair is pretty much the easiest thing to deal with- haha- I think you have nothing to worry about. There is a nice salon at the first floor of the American Building on Walnut & Central Parkway. I know girls and guys who go there.- Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Emancipation Boulevard/Street/Way- Not saying it sarcastically. It sounds much better than Freedom way, shows the real intention (freedom from slavery, not a silly pro-america tea-party-esque reference) and actually has a stronger association with the Freedom Center than Freedom Way.- Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Mercer Commons
^ agreed. Btw- Incase anyone didn't know- All apartments/condos in Mercer will have to pay $75 a month for a parking space in the garage.- Cincinnati: Downtown: Renaissance Hotel (Bartlett Building Redevlopment)
$100 for monthly parking permits at the Riverfront Garage. All residents in Mercer Commons or Gateway V will need to pay $75 to park in either the Mercer Garage or the Washington Park Garage.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
They make a great point. I'm rethinking my positions on the streetcar.... Hard Rock Cafe's NEVER fail....- Cincinnati City Council
6 council members can vote to suspend the rules at anytime. Which means if Mallory is keeping something off the calendar that annoys them, they can suspend the rules and he loses that power. The original charter vote from the late 90's stated the mayor set the calendar and had no deadline that said he had to place items on the calendar at any specific time. A charter amendment could change this... but it's not breaking any laws- and council is NOT powerless.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
^It wasn't supposed to represent game day anything- It's just a rendering that I think Brad created.- Cincinnati: Downtown: The Reserve at 4th and Race

^ Totally disagree. But I think we've gotten pretty far off topic...- Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Well this is my wishlist, and while Uptown/UC and Downtown have all of these things it would be nice to have them right in OTR. Some of these are retail, but it's everyday stuff that I regularly need. Drugstore Could be possible, but there are three in Downtown (only a few blocks away) If anything, the downtown ones need longer hours, not more locations (streetcar will make OTR-CVS/Walgreens even easier). Highly unlikely- there is a large FedEx on 5th street and post offices are closing constantly Pretty sure there are two nice ones right in the middle of the Gateway Quarter! There are about 4-5 crappy liquor stores- 3CDC and the Main Street Merchants have worked hard to get strict on Liquor stores. A wine shop like the former Ludlow Wines would would be nice!! Lucy Blues is expanding into a larger place- They're open to about 2:30AM and are pretty fast! How late is Joe's Diner open? I'm not sure- but if there was enough demand they could definitely use it! They're almost always empty :( But I'd say there could be more casual type dining, definitely. Most places right now are a bit pricey.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
cops are hardly controlling the crowd- they are mainly stopping the cars. Literally all of the Main st. bridge over Ft. washington way is filled with people for 15-20 minutes solid, then the police fight to stop the crowd to let a limited number of cars through. You can't drive any vehicle across it after a game. I used to manage crowd control at some major events. There is a point where there are so many people that you simply stop all vehicular traffic- Even if the streetcar only goes to 2nd, it will take a massive crowd control effort, and probably movable barricades, to keep it running completely uninterrupted after a game. Putting even 6 officers a long just the streetcar line (let alone managing the traffic) wouldn't be enough to stop 20,000 people from walking on the tracks. Just a fact, there will be slight delays for the 20-30 minutes after a game.- Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
^ If you give me an address I'll give you an answer. It sounds as though you're describing Bakersfield, a new tequila bar/taco restaurant that will be opening soon.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
^ Not true. I was a season ticket holder, and after almost every game main would be closed south of 2nd for at LEAST the 30 min after the game. Also, main between 2nd and 3rd would be completely over run by pedestrians for 15-20 min. 2nd street has some police, who keep the light red for about 10-15 min after the game, Then let cars through? And then keep it red for another chunk of to E- Cincinnati: Downtown: Renaissance Hotel (Bartlett Building Redevlopment)
I talked to the Bartlett CEO (they are no longer in the building, and haven't been for some time). She said the big problems with the building is the strange basement, holding a massive old Vault, and of course, no parking. Personally, I think the old Enquirer building on vine is more beautiful, but getting either project moving forward would be great.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Awww guess this will never happen!!!- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Fun fact, McCain took 70% of the vote in Fairfield. So didn't the City put out some thing about getting quotes for building streetcars in September? Was there a timeline on that? Also, a friend of mine at City Hall said if Cincy doesn't get full $58 million, the priority for whatever $ they do get will be riverfront before Vine street hill.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
There is no one in all of hamilton County registered to vote under the name Tom Leasburg, Thomas Leasburg or Leasburg with any first name.- Cincinnati: General Business & Economic News
They posted a 47 million loss in 2009 I believe. They're not really growing much. Ohio/Cincinnati's whole thing was that they were investing in growing industries/companies.- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
^ And ignoring the fact that..... THE STATE of North Carolina put in 20 of the 22 million package and Kasich only wanted to offer 6 million, so it really had little to do with the City's tax package anyway... And the AIRPORT sucks for major businesses. That's a fact. _______________________ And what has driven me crazy is that these people seem to ignore Charlotte's Lynx light rail line or the 2 mile streetcar line they are getting ready to expand (I know, it's an old school style streetcar, not modern, but still).- Cincinnati: General Business & Economic News
^ Chiquitas net Income in 2010 was only 36 million. That 22 million package is 60 percent of last years income.- Non-Ohio Light Rail / Streetcar News
